Does not hold thick hair and the slide is far too flimsy

These are not just for thick or curly hair, my hair is fine and they work perfectly in my hair. I have had hair accessories similar to these before that have damaged my hair quite badly because there were metal components. These, however, contain no metal and hold my hair in place beautifully all day with no damage.
