I had been purchasing trofie pasta from Amazon for a few years but from a different brand. It was fantastic although I do not remember the name of the brand. It is no longer sold on Amazon so I purchased this one and the first problem is that there are no cooking instructions. The other brand that I purchased gave very precise cooking instructions and the result was perfect all the time. I made this product several times and used my best judgment trying to keep it al dente but it always seemed to come out just a bit mushy. If you need this pasta then I guess it is okay to use it because it is otherwise very difficult to obtain
