Nice and low expansion insulation
First, as others have noted, you will need a gun to attach to the can.Second, I highly recommend getting a can of cleaner to keep the gun clean, and for cleaning up any overspray. Now, the foam itself is as described. Low expansion and good adhesion where you apply it.Once the foam is good and dry you can easily cut away any that you need to reduce or make fit.I used it on a few overly large holes that were made when we ran new electrical, and I am well pleased with the result. The next job will be adding some insulation around the refrigerator in our RV. I don't like providing AC to the park when it is running, and this foam should stop the air leak, and not expand so far as to bend the sides of the fridge or the cabinet it sits in.Overall, this is a nice alternative to some of the other canned insulation out there, which can expand to a point of being problem if you aren't super careful.

Low expansion? Maybe has something to do with pressure
I've done a lot of testing with other brands "low expansion" foam. I've never noticed a difference from larg gap to low expansion.. One thing I never took notice of until now was pressure exuded from the expanding foam..While this foam is of great quality like all the others if you apply to much in an enclosed space it exerts pressure which can intern cause damage to substrate.. I think its important to apply enough to fill the space but not over fill if your filling an enclosed space. The quality of this product is on par with other name brands. Application rate will inevitably dictate how much it actually expands

"Great" Foam for cracks
First off, this is a professional gap and crack filler, which to my mind means the foam gun is essential. And most foam guns cost the same or more than the two cans of this foam. So, no-brainer, purchase a foam gun. And while you're at it, it's a good idea to pick up a can of the gun cleaner/sealant remover. Trust me. You will thank me later. This is a big can as compared to the well known "Stuff," as you can see from the picture, but both cans contain 24 oz. I like the larger can, and hope that it means it will last longer, but I DO have my doubts. I use the foam to keep out critters that are smart enough to keep finding places to create new holes.I definitely recommend it, as the other foam expands too much when you use it to blindly fill holes created by mice. I place my fingers close to the foam gun nozzle to force the foam further in the hole created by them. Then I top the hole off with steel wool. Embed the steel wool in the foam, and smooth the top with the foam.

Works
Great for home repairs, definitely add much less than you think you will need! Remember, you can always add more but if you put too much in you can cause damage. This does NOT come with the gun needed for application.

A specialized type of foam
So there are 2 types of foam. This is the type for doors and windows. It expands but won't expand, cause pressure points and take doors and windows out of square. This will match up with the cheapo foam applicators here on Amazon. A similar setup from a big box store is several times more expensive.

Great Value for Low Expansion Foam
These cans are huge, and are perfect if you're replacing several windows or doors. This foam is specifically low expansion which is great because these gap fillers can be surprisingly strong, enough to bow out door and window frames. This is perfect for insulating and sealing those gaps where you need to keep things plum, and they're also huge cans. Just know you need a spray foam gun for these since they don't come with a nozzle to spray them.

A little goes a long way
This is definitely an expansion sealant—be aware of that if you are used to working with caulking or paste type sealants. Try it out on a small test spot so you can see how much it expands before applying it to an entire window or floor gap. It’s better to go back over an area than to scrape off extra foam. It doesn’t look the prettiest, but I think the foam is mostly meant to be used in areas that go unseen. The product video tutorial is extremely helpful, walked me through the entire process, from fitting the applicator gun onto the tube to gliding the foam line across a gap. The double tube sealant pack will last us awhile and can be used all over the house from attic to laundry room. Not too hard on the budget, either.

Good stuff!!
This stuff works so well! Our house is old so it isn't properly insulated. We've been working on insulating the crevices all around the house and this definitely helps. We pulled the baseboards up in our living room and filled in the gaps with this before putting the baseboard back. It works so well, just make sure not to put too much at once because it does expand very rapidly. The can fits many different guns too.
