the pearl is beautiful, although it is exactly 7mm in diameter. I ordered the 8-9mm size. I ordered this as a gift, and a huge disappointment was that the chain is not gold and does not even look like white gold. the chain has a dark silver tone. this information should have been clearly mentioned in the product description. I now have only a couple of days to find something else in time to find the gift I was looking for. if you know that information and are ok with that, then it is a decent product, the chain looks strong and well-made. the certification is all in Chinese, so I am not sure what kind of ease of mind it can provide for an international customer. Knowing that the chain is not made from gold and the pearl is smaller than advertised, the product is probably priced a bit too high for an internet order.

This is a stunning pearl pendant! I purchased th 13-14 mm pearl. I have another 9 mm (not purchased from this vendor) which I felt did not have the presence that I wanted. IMHO, the 9mm would make a great earring size. It was a light grey, making me wonder if was authentic. This Tahitian pearl is a beautiful black with a grey wash and just glows. It is perfectly round and I see no marks. I will not wait and only wear when dressing up, but will wear it often.

When pendant arrived, it was a good size and color, but unfortunately had 2 major blemishes (divots I would guess slightly under 1mm in size) in it with other visible surface blemishes across pearl surface. Not necessarily bad for the price, but not what I was looking for. Returned item without problem.

I took this to a jeweler to mak sure it was real. It was but told it had a lot of flaws. Said it was worth under a $100. I paid over $450.

Don't think this pretty pearl ever saw Tahiti . The box it came in is rather fancy and a nice pouch was provided to contain the necklet if desired The chain that came with it is very flimsy and it wouldn't take much to break it. I used a stronger chain I happened to have . All in all I liked the pearl and decided to keep it
