FAST! And fun! Great entry-level car.
VERY Fast! Probably 30+mph!Great for beginners! The remote has a speed limiter (70%) and I recommend beginners use it until you’re comfortable with the speed and handling. Also recommend beginners install the wheelie-bar! This thing easily flips itself on a full-throttle launch until you get good at throttle control.Once you are proficient at 70%, crank it up and have fun. But there’s one more performance upgrade that comes with it. Springs! The stock springs are very soft but it helps beginners maintain control. Once you’ve had this thing a few weeks and are under control on 100% throttle, change out the black springs for the stiffer silver springs. It takes a little more skill to control, but it’s a blast.SPARE PARTS! This comes with lots of spare parts, and you WILL break stuff. But you have a full set of suspension parts as spares, as well as a rear wing, body, sand-paddle tires, and other stuff.OTHER UPGRADES! There are tons of upgrades available for this, including wheels, tires, motors, servos, chassis, and all suspension components, available on Amazon. All of the electronics are industry standard and compatible with aftermarket stuff.DESIGN FLAWS: First, the left axles should’ve been lefty-threaded. Be sure to check the wheel nuts before and after each use, as the nuts will spin themselves off and you’ll lose them as well as the 12mm hex hubs and pins. It comes with extras, but worth a quick check each time.Second, you should be ready to upgrade the steering servo to something with metal gears. The front-end takes a beating and the pressure on the front wheels beats on the plastic servo gears and eventually strips them out. Quality servos are available for 20-30 bucks.PARENTS: You will be spending money on upgrades and repairs. That’s the nature of this hobby. Stuff breaks, just like on real off-road vehicles. That’s just the way it goes. But again, it comes with an impressive number of spare parts, but you will inevitably break something that it didn’t come with. My first repair was one of the shocks. Easily available on Amazon.

Powerful and really fun RC car
This remote-controlled (RC) car is incredibly fast and provides a lot of fun for those who drive it. However, it's important to note that it is not just a toy, but a powerful RC car. Due to its high speed, you need to be attentive while driving it, as it can easily cause damage to objects or be hazardous if operated by children. There are some technical aspects to keep in mind: the throttle has a slight delay, and the reverse function doesn't always activate immediately after braking. Despite these issues, the overall enjoyment of driving the car remains intact as long as your expectations are managed. For those looking to improve performance, it's possible to upgrade the Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) to reduce throttle delay and achieve a more responsive control. However, this modification isn't necessary for everyone and is not something I feels compelled to do at the moment.I've discovered an issue that really needs attention: about 90% of the screws used in this RC car are 1.5 hex head types, which are very prone to stripping. With these cars, only about 20% of the fun comes from driving them; the remaining 80% is derived from tuning and tweaking. Because of this, I would expect better quality screws to be used. Although I don't mind if parts break during use—it's a normal part of the hobby and changing parts or repairing the car adds to the enjoyment—stripping screws is a different matter. It's frustrating and takes away from the fun, making it an issue that needs to be addressed to avoid spoiling the overall experience. Other than this problem, the RC car offers great value. The car includes screwdrivers that are slightly smaller than the screws used in the car. To prevent the stripping of screw heads, it is highly recommended to use high-quality screwdrivers that are appropriately sized for the car's screws. Using the right tools not only protects the integrity of the screws but also ensures smoother and more efficient maintenance of the car.I had an excellent experience with customer service. After informing them about the issue I encountered, they promptly offered to send me replacement parts for those I had difficulty removing due to stripped screws. Additionally, the product itself comes with an ample supply of spare parts, which is highly commendable. Kudos to the customer service team for their prompt and helpful response.
