Good Optics, larger than some but still excellent
Excellent optics - used sailing (where the wide field of view was essential) and also birdwatching and generally enjoying the world around. Bigger than some but much more practical than binoculars. I bought one for myself in the summer and bought another for my Father for Christmas. He is ex army and was most impressed

A great piece of kit that is rugged
I purchased this monocular for hunting and for work. It's simple to use and ready to focus, giving clear HD views of the target your looking at. A great piece of kit that is rugged, waterproof, light but has a quality feel, not like cheaper alternatives and really clear, crisp image quality.Great for bird watching it those like me that hunt or use these for work.Buy them and you won't be sorry as they will last a lifetime.

Very good for price range
A great product with exceptional magnification at range. Is quite difficult to view at first but once you get used to only using one eye it is brilliant.4 stars...I did not give 5 stars as the lens caps are awkward and the small one comes off in the carry pouch.

Works but not world beating optics in my view
It's OK. The periphery of the admittedly large view isn't as sharp as the centre. A similar rated old binocular I have by greenkat using one side is twice as bright and sharp all ovet. I think a thinner lens and a prism would have been better. But it works and is nicely built.

Fuzzy, Unclear Image
On the plus side, product was compact, looked good and was easy to handle and operate. Negatively however, I could not get a clear image once I had focussed on a subject eg a sheep in a field about 1 mile away looked like a blob (it could easily have been a rock or a bale of hay or something else). In comparison, using one half of my old (cheap) 10x25 binos, I could identify that the previously seen blob was a sheep and I could see eyes and ears. The replacement Blackhawk was no better. I think that it must be the quality of the optics.

GREAT BUY
Great buy. Good clear daytime vision. Used at night, but only where lighting is in plac,e so far, and the vision is very clear. This was for a gift and the recipient is very, very pleased. Lightweight. In fact as the saying goes 'does exactly what it says on the tin' Thank you

Handy piece of kit !
Pleased with this monocular. Takes a bit of getting used to after using binoculars but ok after some practice. Nice quality, handy case and fits nicely into your pocket whilst out walking, saves having to carry binoculars. Recommended.

Good bit of kit
Excellent. It is slightly larger in the hand than I had anticipated but it is bright with good adjustment. All in all a good buy. Half the weight / bulk of a normal pair of binoculars (bit obvious) but all the better for it.
