These seal real well in my Food Saver. They actually get a slightly wider seal than my name brand bags. It may be because these are slightly thinner or a different plastic. Either way, they seal a hair better. I mainly use the cut your own length bags, but I like to have some of these premade ones for a quick seal. I don't always want to have to get out the big roll, measure, etc.

I recently ordered the 8x12 vacuum sealer bags to use with our Foodsaver. These bags are not as thick as the name brand bags. These are the same thickness as other generic bags. I have used several of these bags and had no issues with compatibility. The bags sealed as expected and remain sealed. These are a cost-effective alternative to the name brand and having them pre-cut is a time saver.

These bags worked great with my vacuum sealer. They are not as thick as the ones that came with my vacuum sealer but they still work just fine.

I have used at least three or four of these now. They have all sealed well. Even where there was a bit of sauce in places that were sealing, it melted right through it. I figured if I had a problem with any areas not sealing, it would be there.I don't know exactly how thick these bags are are, but I looked up the thickness of the name brand bags. Those bags are 3 mil on the smooth side and 9 mil on the embossed side. Going by that, my guess would be that these are 6 mil on each side. Both sides of the bags are embossed.I would definitely order these again. For the amount saved over the name brand bags, I don't see that much of a difference. If for any reason I should change my mind (if a bag that I sealed starts leaking or I come across some that won't seal), I will come back and update this review.

I have two different brand vacuum sealers and these work well with both of them.I typically like to buy a larger piece of meat and cut it down to roasts and steaks as I prefer at the time. These bags are big enough for a small roast, perhaps 2 pounds, but not much larger than that. Steaks fit perfectly and there is plenty of lead for the sealers to be happy and work right.I use rolls a lot so I can use with odd shaped or larger cuts. When you use rolls you have to seal both ends. I typically double seal since I am using a consumer, not a commercial vacuum sealer.I like using precut bags for simplicity. I like taking steaks and freezing them. Then I can pull them out and put them into a sous vide without worrying about thawing them out first. This is a great way to stretch meat dollars by buying bulk and freezing. With vacuum sealing there isn't the freezer burn you get with just wrapping up steaks. I like that.At just over a quarter a bag these save a lot of time and make meat or other meal prep simple.

I vacuum seal a LOT of food. I have used plenty of rolls and some pre-cut bags. These are 8"x12" quantity 50 and I think they are a great value. These bags are perfect for your vacuum sealer and work well. They have plenty of "Made to USA standards" and such and quite frankly, these probably come from the same factories that all the rolls come from. These will save you time and work just fine. Delivery was a little slow, but I was in no hurry. Go for it.Made in China
