I purchased the set as a gift for a friend who is just beginning calligraphy. She was ecstatic and we were both impressed with the quality of the product, ink and packaging. She told me it makes her feel good just holding the pen. I personally like the "Old World" look and feel of the pens; the embossed metal is beautiful. It was also a real plus to have the instruction pamphlet included. The pamphlet covers care of the nibs, an intro into the different alphabets and basic information on how to do calligraphy. All in all we are both very pleased with the purchase.

This set is beautiful! Better than I expected! The two pens in the set make it easy to have two different nibs ready at all times, and with two different colors. I'm doing party invitations and it's perfect for the project. Even though I have calligraphy experience, the writing instructions included were nice and would be a great start for people new to the technique.

I was very excited to receive my new calligraphy set, a nice pink box with 2 pens, 10 nibs (5 with some sort of lip or tiny reservoir and finer tips, and 5 broad-tip nibs), 4 small jars of ink and a glass rest for the pens.I will start with the good. The pens look and feel solid and durable, and they are both beautiful too. The box is nice and sturdy enough to keep as storage for the set. All the fine tip nibs work really well, I just LOVE using them. I got an email from the seller with information about the nibs and inks which proved very useful.Now the not so good. My set did not come with an instruction manual, as it is supposed to. Even though the email from the seller was good, I really wish I had a bit more detailed information.Now about the broad nibs, after several attempts following some of the recommendations I found online (such as cleaning and even slightly heating up the nibs) I still could not make them work properly. After several hours of attempts to use them my results have been moderate.The shimmering purple ink, which I nearly finished in less than 2 hours trying to make the broad nibs work, shows its shimmer on the paper in uneven streaks at random. Not particularly appealing to me. The gold ink jar had some sort of blob that wouldn't dissolve into the rest of the ink, regardless of how much I shook the jar, which made this color watery and very, very faint. Didn't like this either, but I am not particularly concerned about the inks. It is the quality of the pens that matters to me.In general I think this is is a nice set that would make a good gift. Now when I can get the broad nibs to work as well as the fine tip ones do, I will say this is a wonderful acquisition that would make a great gift for sure.

I was happy with the delivery time of this item after I ordered it. I was immediately impressed with the packaging. The set was well protected and packaged. I smiled when I opened the box because of the way all the components are laid out in a velvet interior that made it seem very special. Using the nibs with the ink is very easy to do and the drawing quality is good. This would make a wonderful gift for anyone interested in calligraphy!

This is a perfect calligraphy set for me and also as a gift. The inks are brilliant and vivid. The pink pen of glass has a nice weight when held and the nib it comes with is superb. I highly recommend this Calligraphy Set for calligraphy lovers.

The gold and the blue ink is not so good, the pigment sinks to the bottom almost at once after shaking the bottle. The black and the purple is good though.The nibs is okay, but a little stiff for my taste.The glass nibholder is beautiful an has a nice weight that lies good in the hand.

The pens and nibs have an stunning design, the packaging is beautiful. It was also very helpful to have the instruction and guidelines with it. Either if you are new to calligraphy or a veteran this kit is the perfect one. Recommended

Love the nibs. But a little disappointed in the quality of the ink.

Voici un très beau set de calligraphie parfaitement utilisable ! 4 encres originales, 12 plumes différentes et deux portes plumes en verre, cet ensemble est très esthétique, et le fait qu'ils aient rajouté un petit manuel d'utilisation pour les débutants ne gâche en rien le plaisir. J'aime vraiment beaucoup ce coffret d'écriture et le recommande chaudement.

I bought this gorgeous Caligraphy set for my daughter, I was looking for something not just practical but something really special for her and I am sooo happy with this set, that I had to write something about it! I let you see for yourselves how beautiful it is! I took some photos that are attached below.Great service, great product!! First of all my order arrived next day, the packaging is of very good quality and every piece inside was well-wrapped and complete. The colours of the inks are divine, the nibs are strong! BUT the Pen holders are absolutely beautiful especially the pink glass one plus it includes a delicate glass rest for the nibs. The set even comes with a pocket-sized leaflet on how to care, instructions on how to use every type of nib and what the effect would be achieved with each one including examples.We had a little play with the set just to try it out! the best thing about this set is that my daughter and I feel encouraged to be creative...and to have fun with it together!Overall, We LOVE IT and highly recommend this product!

I don't know much about these sets as it was bought as a xmas gift for my mum.She has described it though as the best set she has ever used. Very good quality and perfect weight and balance. She is thrilled with the set and says it's a pleasure to use.There was a slight problem with the inks in my mums set possibly due to their fragile nature and the delivery.But the seller replaced them straight away and without any fuss really a first class service all round.I would definitely recommend this set and the company.One happy mother.

Pour une idée cadeau je trouve ça top, c'est le style des plumes qui ma "forcé" à acheter ce coffret !Mais ... ne vous attender pas à une qualité de fou style plume à 300€ trouver moin chère NON , la le rapport qualité prix ça va en soit mais avec le "nom de la maison" plus les présentations etc je m'attender à bien plus enfaite . Les changement de mine dans les plume et très dur (quand on ne se coupe pas un doigt à essayer de les enlever) donc assez déçu en général dommage .
