Brilliant addition to my Nalgene wide mouth bottles. Means I can drink from them without drenching myself in water with every mouthful!I had the 1.0 version and the 2.0 has made improvement I didn’t even know I needed. The strap is tougher (1.0 strap split after a year or so) and the addition of the cap holder is a nice touch. Also the mouth hole is some how smoother and feels nice (sounds weird but true none the less)If your looking at this item, buy one you won’t regret it

Good fit, well made and easy to clean.

When you hike, you have to carry a lot of water. Nalgene bottles are bombproof. Wide mouth is normally a handy thing for refilling and chucking in ice. But this capcap makes it much easier to drink from. If you drink from the normal top whilst walking you will definitely spill water over your chin. Capcap makes it dribble free :-)

Like for other reviewers, the plastic is weak and failed with typical use.

Much better than version 1.Better quality plastics, no sharp edges, easier to grip and turn.Really, really impressed.Edit- The strap is, in my experience, pretty rubbish. Version 1 and 2 split pretty easily. However, I just removed the strap parts when it split and have been using it without for ages now. Doesn't change how I fundamentally feel about the product.I still would definitely recommend it.
