I ordered this and it came in a box that appears to be for humans (labeled scalp massage), so I figure i would try it on myself first. It was very quiet and did a good job of massaging my head. I was worried about it getting caught in my long hair and it didn't at all, so that gave me peace of mind for my long-haired dog. The first time I used it my dogs ran away but they are getting used to it now and one in particular comes to get massaged when he sees I pick up the tool. It comes with a charging cord but no block.

Funny the listing says this is a pet massager, but the packaging of the product clearly indicates that this is a product for human scalp and has no mentioning of cats and dogs. Either how It works for both.The menu says there are several modes that you can adjust by long pressing on the button, but I could only get it to go faster and slightly slower. Not that I really need so many modes anyways.When I use it on my scalp, the only complaint I have is that the silicone massage heads kind of bunch my hair up as it rotates. Me having short hair makes it less of an issue, but I can see women with long hair can get their hair tangled up. Perhaps better to use with some kind of scalp oil or hair conditioner to improve lubrication.My cat didn’t seem to mind it, but didn’t seem to really enjoy it either.

My cats did not like this. I think because it was so loud.
