Very durable.
Excellent product. I am my own dentist now thanks to manufacturing and engineering technology. I was using the department store 6.99 ones and I'm very glad I upgraded to this. The tips eventually broke off after several days of high intensity scaling work (some of it would be considered abuse of the tool due to not having any other tools to remove more stubborn areas of calculus). Tips began to dull about half way through the tool's life span, but it was still effective until the end. Going to order 2 more.

I am a non-practicing Dental Hygienist (aka at home mom) and I just needed a couple of new instruments to clean my family's teeth and these instruments were affordable and just what I was looking for - very sharp, sturdy, and easy to maneuver. Delivery was also super fast! I will be purchasing here again. :)

Works in those tight spots!
This is the perfect sized scaler - it's thin enough to fit between tight spaces and works wonderfully. Nice and sharp and should last a long time as it's made very well - like the ridges for gripping too.
