I used it to play any childhood tv programs for my children and let them watch the anime I grew up with, best experience!!

Another great piece from Pantasy. For those unfamiliar with the brand, Pantasy produces a product that is very close in quality to Lego, with great piece clutch, that lovely clicking sound, clear and easy to follow instructions, and NO stickers.It also apparently declines to give us a piece count on the US side, so from the .de website, this set has 670 pieces.This is my favorite of the new retro line. Very satisfying build. What's really neat about this is the ability to insert your electronic device in it and have it magnified for viewing.Now, if you're concerned about the size of the device and whether it will fit - I have the Samsung galaxy s23 ultra, which is a 6.8 inch screen. height/width/depth in mm: 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9. It's a big phone. It fit, barely, but anything larger will not. Just FYI.My favorite detail of this set was probably the lace doily it came with. It added such a cute retro touch to an already incredible product. Highly recommend.

Pantasy is one of the "off" brands of building block sets that, in my experience, is always at the same quality level of the big name brands. I have done about a dozen of their sets and they are always top notch. The BRICKKK Retro Green TV set is another hit in my collection by them.The set comes in numbered bags that follow along with the manual. The manual itself is easy to follow and it is clearly done so you won't have a problem knowing which bricks go where as you build. The pieces are all Lego compatible and go together VERY smoothly.The end result is a great looking antique television (makes me feel old since this is the type of TV we had when I was a kid!!!). The best part is that it actually WORKS! The antenna unclips and allows you to open the rear of the build. There is a slot for you to insert you phone and the screen of the television is actually a magnification lens so you can play video and actually watch it! It's one of the most unique builds I have done and it will be in a permanent spot on my display shelf (I may even let the kids play with it!). The set comes also comes with two "screens" you can insert inside. The card has the "off the air" image on one side and a floating set of words (similar to the into to Star Wars) on the other.If you are looking for a unique build that looks great and is easy to assemble, this is a great set. The suggested age range isn't listed but I think that this could easily be done at 10+ years old (younger with adult supervision). At $60, this is a fantastic build at a great price.

From my wife: I was so happy to get this building block kit before the holidays, but it wasn’t until after the holidays that I had time to put it together. It came together easier than I expected. The diagrams were very clear, and the blocks snapped together well. Some of the steps have two bags of blocks so make sure you don’t freak out like I did and assume blocks were missing. I ended up opening one bag of Step 2 and when I didn’t find the pieces, I figured I would just take from Step 3. That’s when I found the second Step 2 bag.I did use the included brick tool to unsnap bricks when I put them together wrong. It was so handy. The finished project is so cute, and I love that I could fit my iPhone 15 Pro Max in a case into it. I was not able to fit my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra in Otter Box case into it, but I removed the case and it fit! This displays nicely with the included doily.

The BRICKKK Retro Green TV Building Kit was a total nostalgic build for me! I remember visiting my grandparents and them having a similar style TV with bunny ears and the doily over it! It just really brought me joy to build this and took me back. The quality of the blocks were pretty decent though some pieces didn't snap together as firmly as I'd have liked and the build didn't take me more than a day and a half. The attention to detail with the parts built is pretty awesome. Definitely worth the price and so much fun!

My 12-year-old son and I had a lot of fun building this TV set together. It was fun to see it come together and to see all the mechanisms built in to hold smartphones. I would never want to watch anything on this, but I thought it would look fun sitting on a shelf.After we finished it I noticed that with very few modifications this finished set is the perfect size to hold the display for my weather station. The heat from the unit was enough to cause it to show a warmer temperature than what the room actually was, so we removed a few pieces from the top and back to add ventilation. It was still reading a degree or two high, but after removing the lens sheet we were able to replace the removed blocks and still have it read accurately. I love it!There were a few extra blocks included in the kit which is preferable to not having enough. And the step-by-step instructions were clear - though it does take some time to figure things out sometimes.I would be interested in more Pantasy building block kits.

This thing exceeded my expectations. I've seen other similar ideas before claiming to be phone magnifier TVs or some such, but they did a bad job and they didn't even look that good.This set went together easily by following the instructions. The pieces seem very high quality and made to exacting specs to fit nicely. There are some "non-standard" style pieces when compared to other traditional bricks, but overall it was designed well and satisfying to put together.I have it up on my hearth and it makes a good conversation piece. I also use it sometimes to watch podcasts.I was worried the audio would get muffled by the TV, but it comes through quite clearly just using my internal phone speaker.What a fun product... A display set that's actually useful!

Was really looking forward to assembling this kit. But the front & back pieces of the tv do not fit together well. Also, pieces don’t stay together well once assembled.
