Perfect for upscale whiskey serving

I bought these because I don't always like putting ice in my cocktails if I know it's going to be a slow sip kind of night. They "freeze" quickly and are easy to clean. I wouldn't say one ball has the same cold value as a handful of ice, but it does bring the temp down quite nicely for the drink.I have one for drinks and one for massage purposes. My massage therapist recommended I keep a frozen water bottle to roll my feet on every night to alleviate some of my tightness, and I like the ball a lot better.

These spheres do exactly what they were intended to do -- keep your drink cold. They are a bit heavy and made of metal, so you need to be careful with fine glassware. I am a klutz, so I don't think I would trust myself to use them in the nice crystal glasses. You should also probably put them in your drink after it is poured to avoid damaging the glass. Unlike ice, they don't melt (which is kind of the point here), but that also means the sphere is as big as it was when you started, so it will clunk around in your almost-empty glass.

I only drink my whiskey neat, but I do enjoy it cold once in a while. These large stones also have a wow factor for my guests.I'm also a germaphobe and regular stones give me the creeps. I only use stainless steel stones. These perform as you'd expect. The case is a nice touch for keeping them in the freezer. And the tongs keep germs off as well. They also did fine in the dishwasher. I would definitely buy these again.

The stones look nice and did a good job of keeping my drink cold. They are bigger than I expected but not a problem.

Everything with these stainless steel ice cubes balls seem to be perfect. It comes with little tongs so you can pick them up from the freezer without getting your hands cold or getting germs on them for someone else's drink. My only negative is the container that they are in. It is a cheaper plastic container that doesn't give you enough room around the balls in order to lift them out of the container. It would have been nicer to come in something like a silicone box that would give so that you can get the tongs on each side of balls.

I have several different types of either whiskey, stones or balls such as these. I actually have to say that these are my favorite given the fact that they do not alter the flavor of the whiskey, but they seem to be better at maintaining coldness versus the stones it has really good price points so I would definitely recommend
