this fts well and keeps the wind off my face

It needs breathing holes 🕳️ hard to breathe through and talk loudly through. It is fairly warm and good at warming cold spots. Keeping it covering the nose and not the eyes can be difficult at times.

I am a petite woman and was worried it would be too big for my face. it wasnt tight but kept my face warm in 0 degree wind chill was skiing.

If you are the kind of person who wears a stocking cap/beanie during the colder months, you might find the back of your neck gets chilly because it is exposed. If you aren't fond of coats that have a hood, you can wear a scarf, of put on a balaclava. The only problem I've had with the latter is that when you try to put the stocking cap or beanie on afterwards it usually gets all messed up and askew. This gaiter is a great solution for that. It covers the exposed neck area but has nothing but a thin strip that goes over the skull, to keep it up. When putting the stocking cap or beanie on, nothing gets messed up, or goes askew.My only complaint would be that the material is too much plastic and is kind of cold when first putting it on. A bit more cloth and less synthetic materials would help alleviate that.

I can’t understand why so many people claim that their products are either windproof or waterproof, when they are not. If this thing is windproof, then I am the sexiest woman in the history of the world. Yeah right! Haha! Seriously though, this thing is not windproof.To whoever loaded the images for this product. Sir or madam, “windproof” means that air won’t go through it. Just like waterproof means that water won’t go through the fabric. Which is different than “water resistant.”One simple way to know if something is windproof is to put the fabric to your mouth, seal your lips on the fabric as much as possible, and then blow. If the air goes through, then it is not windproof. I would say that this fabric is not even wind resistand.I did the blow test and the air went right through the fabric with hardly any resistance. I then covered my hand with the fabric and placed it in front of a fan, I felt the cool air go right through it. I then put it on and placed a fan close to my face. Right away I felt to cold air on my face and neck. Not good!I then covered my eyes with a layer fabric and looked at my TV. I was able to make out the face of the lady on TV. By comparison, I have an Under Armour balaclava that is waterproof, I can’t see any light shine through. Of course, if something is waterproof, then it is also windproof. To be fair, I have to say that I did the TV test with the side that has a single side.I ride a motorcycle year round, rain or shine. I am always on the lookout for neck warmers or balaclavas that are either windproof or rainproof. Windproof for cold days and waterproof for rainy days.I doubt that this gaiter could keep my neck warm when the fabric has such a low wind resistance. I would like to test it on my bike but if I wear it, I believe that won’t be allowed to return it.I gave it two stars because the fabric seems to be really good. Very soft, yet it feels very durable. It is definitely well built. It’s such a shame that it is NOT waterproof. If you have a used for such gaiter, I would highly recommend it. As for me I am returning mine. I have no use for it.

The top strap works well so it doesn’t slip.

We’ve all seen neck gators and balaclavas before, this is an improved neck gator. One that doesn’t slip down from your face. It looks a little strange but trust me it works. Highlight recommend!

I have a pretty petite head and so it was a little loose but still fit fine. I was worried that it wouldn’t keep me warm from the cold but it did.

So lässt sie sich leicht anziehen, passt aber auch gut unter den Helm. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass sie Schweiss und Feuchtigkeit gut nach außen ableitet.Die Skimaske lässt sich vielseitig verwenden. Man kann sie entweder mit oder ohne Mundschutz nutzen oder auch einfach als Schal verwenden.Negativ: Nichts

The quality is ok, soft and elastic. The material is very thin without inner lining. I don’t think it can withstand the wind if you ski in a cold day.

Im Rahmen des Amazon Vine Programms durfte ich die Outdoor Skimaske kostenfrei testen und ausprobieren.Die Skimaske oder auch “Balaclava” genannt kommt nicht gerade spektakulär in einer Plastiktüte.Die Skimaske fühlt sich aber sehr angenehm an, besteht aus einem dehnbaren Material und passt sich schön dem Körper an. Bei mir kam es heute an und ich habe es auch direkt mal gewaschen. Durch den Stoff und die Dicke war die Maske aber in wenigen Minuten wieder trocken.Dieser “Mundschuz”-Stoff ist sehr nice angebracht und vereinfacht so, dass man den Mund auch einfach mal freimachen kann, wenn man den Schutz gerade nicht braucht. Wie auf den Produktbildern ist diese Maske aber sowieso recht vielseitig und so könnte man diese auch einfach als “Schal” verwenden oder nur für die Haare, nur den Mund oder als Windschutz beim Fahrrad fahren z.B.Ich finds mega und vor allem diese Vielseitigkeit finde ich top. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich mal eine Skimaske fürs Fahrradfahren bräuchte, aber es macht echt einen Unterschied. Für den Preis top.
