We have a perfectly good suitcase which my daughter managed to damage. One of the wheels got ‘stripped’ on an escalator! Was going to bin the case then saw these. Not identical to the original Tripp case wheels but dimensions are spot on. Fitting is easy although you have to look carefully at the listing photos to work out where the washers go - no instructions came with the wheels.The biggest issue was removing the damaged wheel. We had to hacksaw it off. It was then a little fiddly to hold the second washer in place when threading the bolt through. It pays to have someone with small fingers.Saved the case for under £10. And have 3 spare wheels for future damages. Result 👍

The wheels run on bearings which makes them very easy to move. The wheels come with two different lengths axels so no problem fitting my case. Once the old wheels are removed it is very easy to install the replacement wheels.

I used a drill to remove the old wheels, rather than a saw, and that worked well. The wheels themselves are much much better than the originals.

Easy to fit and much cheaper than buying a new suitcase.

I'm so glad I bought these to replace the messed up wheels on my tripp luggage. I should've gone for the size up but these were still OK, only slightly smaller than the original wheels.Have to saw through the axle to get the old wheels off which is a bit time consuming. But putting the new wheels on is super easy. Definitely worth it.Suitcase goes so smooth now. And because they're made of rubber, they're not as noisy as the old wheels.

How we never felt the wheel had failed still amazes me but thank goodness for these new wheels.First of all after figuring out how to remove the badly worn assembly came the challenge of removing the seized wheel, which had got so hot it had welded itself to the carrier which unfortunately broke off across the axel hole as I was trying to prise it loose. I have done what I hope will be a permanent repair using 2 part resin repair kit and the next trip away will be the acid test.The wheels seem to be of good quality and fitted perfect into the carriers without the need of any washers, the two different length of Axel bolts came in very useful to repair the broken telescopic handle bottom fixings which got damaged on the outward journey (photo of sticking plaster temp repair)..The fitting instructions said to hacksaw off the original Axel's which I did on the damaged one but it I found it easier and quicker to dill out the rivet head end on the others as they had to be drilled out from 5mm to 6mm which if I hadn't broken the seized wheel unit would have been a 15 minute job to do all 4.All in all money well spent

Just what we needed, very happy with this product.

Good sturdy wheels. The only problem is they don't come with instructions, so you have to figure out on your own how to install them. The hardest part was removing the old wheels by cutting through the old bolts. That took a long time for me, but afterwards installing the wheels was quick.
