Moment Rugged Case for Galaxy Note 8 - Protective Phone Case with M-Series Lens Attachment - Black Canvas

You only buy this case for one reason. Moment lenses. If you don't use moment lenses, there are definitely cheaper options.That said, the case feels great and is hard enough to keep your phone safe but doesn't feel like a brick in your pocket.It fit the note 8 perfectly.My only concern with the construction is the plastic lens mounting area. It will break very easily. I've had mine only a couple months and I had to have it replaced already.I use my moment lenses almost everyday and changing lenses frequently will stress the mounting area and it will chip. Once that happens the lenses don't lock in properly.A very Good thing is Moment honors their warranty promise and gave me NO problems when I asked for a new one. They asked me for a picture of damage and how it happened, for their research, and sent me a new one FedEx. 2day delivery.Their lenses Are phenomenal and you need the case to use them. Get it. Just be careful. Maybe don't use it more than you need to.

It feels like a quality piece. Not the thinnest case but not overly thick. I think the buttons are hard to feel. It was slipper at first, but after a week of use it's much better. It's very sturdy though, even with the camera mounted. I only use it when I intend to use my Moment lens.

Love it and also love it for regular use I like how the case separate the cam from the fingerprint that way I won't make the camera dirty can't wait to receive my lenses

So far my Moment lenses attach and stay on well. However, there's nothing special about the plastic & I can already see scratches from the lens flanges, suggesting that the connection will get sloppy sooner or later. Since I've barely used it, I suspect sooner.More importantly, the phone control buttons are thin and inflexible. The phone is less functional because this -- unless you like hammering on the edges. The canvas texture on the back is nice, but hardly worth the steep price.If you love Moment lenses this is your only choice. I'll keep the case with my lenses and swap it out when I feel like taking pictures and don't have my DSLR, but I bought a Spigen Rugged Armor case for $38 less ... and got the phone part of my phone back.It's a half step forward (lens attachments) & a full step backward for way too much money.

Just had it for a day but the case fits wonderfully and the side buttons are not as tall as most. Love it

It works perfect. You have to have this case to use the moment lenses but it is a nice case to have on the phone all the time.

Extremely disappointed with this case. I obviously bought to use the V2 Moment lenses with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Fortunately I borrowed lenses from a friend. Tried both the wide angle 18mm and telephoto 60mm lenses. Both badly degraded photo quality, and showed bad lens flare and chromatic abberations. I ended up deleting all the photos taken with them. As the photo quality doesnt seem to be worse using these same lenses on my friends Moment case for his iPhone, I can only assume the Galaxy Note 8 case isn't designed to the same standard. I give the case itself 2 stars as it is slim, and has nice textured canvas back. However, the case buttons are too stiff, and it doesn't fulfill its main purpose of effectively attaching the Moment lenses!

The case is great. The whole system is better than I expected.
