Good price

The 60.1/2 plane is a modest piece of kit worth having in any DiY tool box. However, if, like me you promptly plane over a screw head you need a replacement blade to hand. A second blade fits quite neatly in the plane's storage box.

Well it fits my old faithfull low angle block plane beautifully but it does need a lot of polishing off on the back of the blade before you can get a desent edge on. All new plane blades need some fettling but this was worse than my previous blades... hopefully just a batch issue as I go through these at a rate of about one every 3 years...

good value for money not veritas but does the job it was bought for.

Not very sharp

This blade took a lot of fettling before I got it as flat and as sharp as I wanted. Perseverance was all that was needed along with a bit of elbow grease. Now I can get paper thin slivers of timber time after time.

Fitted Stanley equivalent size block plane. It’s a blade. It’s sharp. It’s value for the cost

The blade was installed very easy . The grooves to adjust the depth did not allow for enough for blade to be properly set as needed. Need to adjust blade after used several times.
