In case the Sling Strap comes loose from the camera's tripod mount, the Camera Tether can safeguard your camera from falling. This small inexpensive item can save a lot of money in the long run should the main strap attachment ever fails. The cord is made from lightweight durable fiber, and the carabiner with a hex nut screw lock is made from stainless steel. Total length including the 1.5-inch metal clip is approximately 12 inches.
