Great Value & My Hair LOVES Them
Personal Background:Hair Type: super fine silky hair - NO volume on top of my headAmount of Hair: VERY full head of hair, as in I have a ton of hair, but each strand is very thinHair Texture: varies (if I air dry it's wavy/has a little curl / if I bush periodically when wet it dries mostly straight / if I kink it a bunch while drying it has light curls midway down my head)Hair Color: Dirty/Golden blondHair Length: Long, hangs about 8 inches below my shoulderSo, I used to use elastics with the fabric coating the band (pretty standard hair ties). Scrunchies, though they would leave less kinks, did not keep my hair together (my hair just slipped right out) and hair rubber bands DESTROYED my hair every time I removed them (despite being designed to come out of hair, I would lose a good amount in the battle because the fine strands just LOVED getting stuck). The soft fabric ties you use on kids(the ones with no rubber band in them)? those did not stay in, but at least they didn't hurt to remove. That really left me with the regular hair ties. For years I had to buy multiples packs a year because they never lasted long (would either snap on me, or the elastic got too stretched out. Because my hair has a silky texture, I had to wrap my hair pretty tightly (to the point of always hurting my fingers when putting up my hair) Aside from the constant hair tie replacing and loss of finger circulation when putting on, I would always get the worse hair kinks. If I wore my hair up for one day, I had to wear my hair up everyday until the next time i washed my hair. The kink was THAT bad. (note on myself: I'm pretty big on my hair care/health, so I would never straighten my hair to remove the kink, and try to only wash my hair a few times a week and use dry shampoo between washings- this could attribute to my hair type) THEN, one glorious Christmas my sister got me the weirdest hair tie as a gift. I have never seen a hair tie that looked like a coil before. She said it was big in Asia and I decided to give it a go (because why not?) It was a weird transition, but one that was surprisingly life changing. The coils in the tie helps keep my hair up by catching the stands that want to weasel their way out, and I did not have to bind my hair as tightly. Because I did not need to wrap the tie so many times round my hair, I got less of a hair kink. I can now wear my hair up one day then wear it down the next. That's how much the tie made a difference. On top of that, they are surprisingly durable. I received a two pack of clear coil ties, and have been using them for 8 months. The only reason I purchased these is because I left one at work (I've been working remotely since COVID hit, and I don't want to drive 45 minutes each way to retrieve a hair tie) and the other one is getting pretty stretched (fun fact, unlike regular hairties, these coil ties are almost as strong stretched out as they are new - I just have to wrap the tie around my hair a few extra times, but they still work like a charm!). I wanted to have some backup ties, and I liked having a few other colors. If I'm going out, I'd rather use a coil closer to my hair color than a clear shiny one. Now, that is my review on coil ties in general (10/10). My thoughts on this particular brand of hair coils? So far I've used them daily for a little over a week, and the products seem relatively comparable. They have not stretched out yet, and they hold my hair just as well as far as i can tell. My only note is that, since working from home, I don't try to get my hair up as nicely. Instead of a high pony tail or a bun, I've been wearing my hair mostly is low hanging loose ponytails. Most of my thoughts on this tie, and the reason I rated it 5 stars, is because I love this type of hair tie, and it acts the same as the ones I've used in the past. I also felt this pack was a great value, offering multiple hairties in a variation of colors for a reasonable price ($8 may seem high for hair ties, but as previously mentioned these things will last for the long haul).UPDATE: I tried binding my hair in a high ponytail, and the coil did stretch out a bit in the process. The coil is still plenty usable, but I don't think they will last quite as long as the previous product I used. However, I still consider this product worthy of five stars, because the price for the amount of hair coils received is still a bargain. I anticipate these coils lasting me a good year, despite the mild stretching I already noticed in one coil (have not needed to use any of the other coils yet) I uploaded a picture to show current hair coil status. The clear coil is the one I received last December (8 months of daily use - often used to bind my hair in a high ponytail, so a lot of strain has been put on the coil) The black coil is the one I've been using for about 2 weeks of daily use (mostly binding my hair loosely in a low ponytail) The brown coil has not yet been used and came in the same pack as the black coil (can see how much the black coil has stretched out over 2 weeks of use) I estimate getting about 6 weeks use out of each coil if I rotate between high ponytails (hair bound tightly) and low ponytails (hair bound loosely).Last side note, because I always look for this when I read product reviews, I write reviews randomly. I usually only comment on products I've personally used and have strong opinions on (I don't write reviews on things I buy for others, or items I am indifferent on. I mostly rate books I've read because I think it's good for authors to get feedback on their work & items i really love/dislike)

Much better than expected!
I bought these with low expectations, but I am so surprised. They work great. I have very thick hair and these do a great job of holding my hair all day. They don't pull or have to be put in so tight that my head hurts. At the end of the day I put them on my shelf in front of a window and the heat from the window retracts them back to their normal shape before I'm ready to wear them again.

Hair Ties
I had previously used the Scunci brand of these spiral hair ties so that is what I am comparing this product to. With the Scunci brand, I could secure a pony tail with 3 wrap arounds. Once the Scunci brand got stretched out, I could secure a pony tail with 4 wrap arounds.THIS brand seems to be a little looser and/or has more stretch. For THESE, I have to wrap around 4 times to secure my pony tail - because of this, I don't anticipate they will last as long.I will continue to use them until I am through with the pack. But I probably will NOT purchase these again.

Bought these for my Girlfriend
Full Disclaimer: I'm a dude and know nothing about these hair ties or "hair bows" as my GF calls them. However, I noticed that she always wore one specific one and it looked like this, so I ordered this box for her. SHE WAS THRILLED.--Dudes, if your GF likes hairbows like this because it doesn't "Pull hair" or whatever, these are the ones to get. Trust me. They come looking REALLY small, but apparently that's what they all look like at first.Buy them!

Best hair ties ever!!!
I like that these hair ties don't leave dents in my hair when I take them out. They are very comfortable and stay in. I'll never go back to the rubber bands i used to wear.

Non damaging
These are great for a pony tail or braids . They do not saw your hair in half and cause breakage like traditional hair ties. They don’t holdThe hair tight so it won’t work for high pony tails or a bun but if your trying to avoid breakage and growing your hair out these are an excellent choice

They do return to shape, but not as small
These are great! They do hold my hair all day, and when I remove them, they do not tear my hair out like elastics. They will return to shape after a while, and putting them in hot water really helps shrink them down but never back to first use size. Still there are enough in here to last a long time!

small but don’t be deceived!
these look very small when you receive them. i can assure you, they are durable. i have long (just below shoulder length), thick, wavy hair and these are very sturdy in my hair. i usually wrap them around my hair 3 times, but if i’ve been using it all day and want a tighter hold on my hair, i can wrap it 4 times around. they do go back to the original size when you’re not using. so they aren’t always stretched out after you use them. perfect colours and they have not broke. would recommend!

Decent quality
This is my 2nd time buying these. They are the real kind that shrink back to it's original size, when placed in boiled water. My first pack, 4 of them broke on the 1st use, which was hella annoying. The remaining lasted me over 2 years.

Much better than dollar store
These don’t seem like they’re going to break like my dollar store ones did. These are faster to put in and they stay better.

Spiral Hair Ties
These hair ties work as expected. They are the Perfect size for ponytails and they don't leave bends in your hair when removed. Exactly what I was looking for that I could find in retail stores.
