SalomonMen's ALPHACROSS 5 GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoe

I've had a pair of Salomon hiking boots for several years and love them. I have not been happy with any walking or running shoes and decided to give these Salomon hiking shoes at try. They have been very comfortable for me. I wear them at work and can stand for an 60-90 minutes without issues while I've had Nike's that would start to give me lower back discomfort after 20 minutes. And that's when I have Dr. Scholls cushioned soles in them too.Highly recommended!

Purchased for Gore-tex and comfort. For me, a little narrow. Seem to fit true to size, but a little disappointment in width. Will keep, as need was for next day after I received product.

I've been using the Alphacross 5 for years now. They last a reasonable amount of time for my 2.5 mile hybrid walks that are 3-5 times a week. Usually need to replace them after about a year or thereabouts.Good value if you can get them under $100 or on sale. I like the style, form, and fit. I'm a size 9.5 and it fits perfectly.I use after market arch support however. Super Feet for an extra $50 to help my flat foot issues the arise like plantar fasciitis. Great shoe.

Sucks that I had to find out a few months after purchasing that these are not waterproof whatsoever.First heavy rain both right and left toes soaked through. These should be labeled as water resistant not waterproof, total bogus.

Bought as my new work shoes and felt immediate comfort when I put these on. Was a little worried about the fit since I saw other reviews mention they felt narrow but these are definitely true to size with room to wiggle. As with any new pair of shoes, I suggest loosening the laces before putting them on the first time since they are pulled tight when packaged which may contribute to the “narrow” feeling others are mentioning.

I have medium width feet. There were much too narrow for me. Looked good. Just couldn’t wear them.

Salomon is always a high quality product. Gortex is a great advantage and provides water proof protection and breathability. Very comfortable light weight hiking/walking boot with great tread for rough or slippery surfaces. Not suitable for extreme mountain terrain. Good value for money. Can't understand why the black ones are so much more expensive than the green ?? Overall, I am very satisfied with the green ones I bought for daily walks/hikes in the Okanagan valley.

Per quanto non si trovino più a meno di 100 €, ancora una volta Salomon non sbaglia, anzi migliora.Rispetto al precedente modello in Gore-tex (che possiedo ancora), l'estetica ha fatto passi da gigante: l'aspetto delle scarpe è si imponente, ma meno "grezzo". Scarpa sportiva, adatta a terreni medio duri ma che si fa notare anche quando si veste casual. Tuttavia, non perde le sue ottime qualità di comodità, grip, impermeabilità, leggerezza ed equilibrio termico: fondamentale non solo in inverno.Che dire... promosse a pieni voti; taglia conforme alla classica scarpa sportiva che si indossa di solito.
