This product has no aspirin in it and will not cause blood thinning like most of Alka-Seltzer products. We have Been using it for years as an antacid and as a neutralizer for minor allergic reactions in he body as a whole. It was recommended to us by an allergist many years ago, because it helps adjust acidity and alkalinity (Ph) in the body as a whole..

Don't know why stores that carry lots of Alka Seltzer Products don't carry the Gold. It helps my acid reflux but is hard to find locally. I usually just take one tablet in half a glass of water. Try not to take more than 2 a day but also use meds or other products.

Good buy. Cheaper than walmart or walgreens.

Aspirin is not a safe product for most people. NSAIDS (aspirin, aleve, ibuprofen, etc. are not safe for your kidneys, especially if you are diabetic, and even if you are not. Regular alkaseltzer contains aspirin for pain relief. If all you have is indigestion, you don't need aspirin. Alkaseltzer Gold is just the answer for this if you like a liquid remedy for indigestion and heartburn. I recommend it for both.

This specialized Alka-Seltzer is a must-have for anyone with acid reflux issues. I can't take regular Alka-Seltzer due to my blood-thinning medicine, so this product is a welcome substitute.

Nice to have an aspirin-free Alka-Seltzer for someone who has to avoid aspirin (or other NSAIDs). I just wish stores would carry it, and that it was the same price as normal Alka-Seltzer (supply/demand/price rears its ugly head).
