Repeat buyer across multiple vehicles. The Scot in me seeks to maximize the quality-price ratio (QPR). I used to use [the most obvious competitor or, if non-obvious, the one with an arm and a hammer] and was not dissatisfied. Then... that company let me down, refusing to offer a model consistent with my then vehicle. Gads!So, a new round of exhaustive and exhausting analysis unto paralysis and... I gave Spearhead a try. This was a few years ago; never heard of 'em 'til then. Charcoal? Check. Better than "standard"? Check. But seriously, how can you compare these things? Frankly, it rather irks me that [a ubiquitous Consumer org that Reports on its testing of stuff] will post a video of HOW to replace your cabin filter w/aftermarket w/o recommending said aftermarket replacement. (In fact, I've noticed over the years that oftentimes by the time the ratings hit the library they're already outdated, especially with, say, Whirlpool or other major makers who change their model #s a lot. But I digress.)So, what do I know? Here's what I know: It's pollen season. WICKED thick yellow pollen on *everything*. Time to change the cabin filter. No, not because it was failing but because, well, a blanket of pollen is my reminder to change it. Pull the old one out and WOW is it covered in stuff: leaves, seeds, "stuff," pollen--meaning it was doing it's job since the fam saw riding in the fam van as a respite from pollen! So, clearly the Spearhead was working.What else? Oh yes: Perfect fit. Maybe you have a different experience but it fits my vehicle perfectly. Thick enough to quiet the fan noise (them squirrels can get to humming sometimes).Oh, and did I mention Scot? And QPR? Yeah, well, not only is it every bit at least as good as "that other brand," it was significantly cheaper (like me!). Note: When I say "at least as good as" that's because I have not used Spearhead to failure (and how would one?). Again, all I know is that the one I replaced was still working just fine, and I'm perfectly happy with the nifty new one, secure in the knowledge it's doing it's job.Added superfluous pic (because I know *I* look at the ones with pics). Wish I'd taken before-and-after, but that would say more about my van than this filter.

This product looked sturdy and of good quality. Unfortunately, I traded my car after installing the air cabin filter, so I didn't feel the difference in a/c quality.

I don't consider myself as being mechanically inclined, but the cabin air filter was very easy to install. Sure beats paying the inflated price for the car dealership to replace it! The filter fit perfectly and it seems to last longer too.
