Typhoo Regular Tea Bags, 80-Count (Pack of 3)

Excellent rich flavor without bitterness. Infinitely better than ‘America’s Favorite Tea’. Only one bag needed for the perfect cup so it’s an excellent value. Very happy to purchase on Amazon, but I do have a serious fear they’ll stop carrying it as it’s not available locally.

This continues to the the best English Tea we can order in the US. I find that it is better to buy, even though you have a longer wait...from a UK supplier than a US supplier as the latter seem to get the catering products that are lower quality tea...unless they state they sell English tea packaged in England for consumer market. I asked how many foil bags there are and got MANY answers with no consensus! Mine came in 40bags to a airtight foil bag...6 of these to one box. These are strong bags for a normal tea cup...much too strong and I love strong tea and that is because most ENGLISH tea bags are sized for a normal one person pot which is two china cups of tea! I use a 10oz thermal mug to brew one bag for 4 mins with the hottest boil...that means boiling water for at least 15 seconds longer to get the air out. In the UK they actually use a pressured water boiler in commercial places that almost steams the tea as the water fills the pot.

Typhoo Tea is still our favorite tea from England. It brews to a smooth and fragrant pot of tea every time.

I just love the taste of this tea, it is wonderful, I just love to relax with a hot cup of Typhoo tea, I highly recommend anyone who loves a good cup of tea to order this tea!

I bought this tea at the suggestion of a viewer of Pgtips. Excellent suggestion! The tea is very strong so I only had to steep a single bag in a cup less than 2 minutes and it was some of the smoothest, most comforting tea I have had. A little less expensive and perhaps better than PGTips, which is saying something as I love PGT. Dont squeeze the bag, as it has been stated in some reviews before, and there will be no bitterness whatsoever. Love this tea!

If you like black tea you'll love Typhoo. I saw it mentioned on an English show and as always thank you Amazon for carrying things no where else does. This is a really strong black tea that you have to make correctly (read: can't just leave the tea bag in like most Americans do...) and goes best with a little milk. My roommate (who has given me a hard time for having an unreasonably large quantity of tea, with good reason) has even fallen in love with this tea and steals at least a few bags a day from me so it is that good. If you're even on this page looking at it I say you pick up a box or three and give it a spin, it's way better than any black tea I've come across state-side.

My friend from Britain introduced me to this tea- said it was a favorite over there. This is a very good tea and my second favorite (my favorite is Yorkshire Gold) this one has a hint of clovve and goes very well wtih maple flavored sausages. The tea is in round sachets and they are packed neatly in two foil bags to keep them fresh so buying them this way is a real saver

Thus was mot the product I ordered. This is the second time this has happened. I tried to communicate with representatives on live chartbut it takes so very long for the response and each new one you get you have to explain again. I have decided not to order this tea from this vendor or order another tea. I asked a few questions to understand if the packaging had changed etc but no response.
