A simple but effective design, neat and tidy bit of kit

I bought this to compliment my existing Preston hook length box (another great product) for hook lengths longer than 12 inches. I find them easy to wind off and on, and using the small pins provided the line stays very secure. The big bonus is that the line comes off straight with no kinks, and there is plenty of room on each spool for countless hook lengths, each just hooks into the loop of the previous one, leaving only the last length pinned in place . Easy to use, well thought out and well made. It feels like it should last a lifetime and that makes it well worth 5 stars.

Quality packaging ensures this won’t get damaged in the post. I’m going to use this to set up different length tippet, with point and dropper flies already attached. Very useful when you get tangles, when the fish are feeding. Especially if it’s Mullet ;-)

This rig box holds 10 spools and each spool easily 20 rigs. It’s quite compact too so fits easily into a tackle bag or box. Great value and spare spools readily available. This is the first time I have tried this and tied my own rigs but I’m hooked now and saving a fortune on ready made versions.
