d'aucy Flageolets 400 g (Pack of 12)

I have always been the biggest fan of these beans to the extent I have them on subscribe and save, but the last batch I bought from Amazon (direct about 3 weeks ago) had the consistency of very thick very mushy peas. They wouldn't even come out of the tin. Nothing like previous batches I have bought. So I am now reluctant to purchase again if quality control is so hit and miss. These were total waste of money

The beans are fine but each can contains 54% of your daily salt allowance!Because of that, I will NOT be buying again.Calculation:Salt per 100g = 0.81gCan size = 400gSalt in can = 4 * 0.81g = 3.24gMax salt per day = 6gCan salt as percent of max day limit = 100 * (3.24/6) = 54%

prefer to rinse the beans otherwise they are a little sticky. Lovely taste makes a nice change from other veg

Best Flageotlet beans in a tin. Closest to the fresh bean that I have found. As good as dried without the need to soak and cook.

Not much to say: just love them and far better taste than the Morrison’s own make (which I can’t find anymore anyway).

Made a fab salad once with blue cheese, walnuts and flageolet beans and wanted to make it again. Have not been able to source them locally.

First tried these in France. I love the taste of them, my favourite tinned vegetable

Arrived promptly. And they didn’t go down well in our household unfortunately. Very bland and tasteless & left a horrible taste in our mouths. So I wouldn’t buy these again.
