I have been suffering from heel pains, they have become chronic in nature and the cause could be anything but my doctor recommended to keep the area moisturized.However socks and shoes do get in the way of moisturizing and it was not helping me at all. I searched for a product like this for a while and finally found these cups.It was almost an instant relief for me, they fit snugly around my heels and I use them after moisturizing my heels, I wear my socks and shoes over them. They offered great comfort and helped reduced my pain. I think the snug fit is the trick here, they do not slide around and offer a comfortable base for my heel so socks and shoes does not scrape my skin further. I ordered a couple more pairs since I use them daiily and all day.I definitely recommend this if you are suffering from the same type of trouble I am suffering from.

Any medical device should help to solve a problem, not to create a new one. These heel cups seemed to be a good problem solver for the first few days, but they turned out to be instead a new problem maker. I bought them to reduce the pain and prevent the skin injury from the constant rubbing of the heel against a new pair of winter boots. If they did kill the pain and protect the heel at first, 2 days later I had a rash outburst on top and on the sides of both feet, along with severe itching and burning sensation. Bottom line: I cannot wear them for a full day of work and I cannot return the product.Obviously, the cups are not made from a medical grade and anti-allergenic material. Mine are not in skin colour as shown on the images, they are rather translucent white. The skin does not breathe under the silicon gel and that is what probably triggered the rash. Conclusion: this is a useless purchase of a poorly conceived product. * * *Be also aware that there is only one cup per package; you need one for each foot, you need to order two packages, for a total of twice the price advertised* * *
