Product Description The history of the Milk Float starts as far back as 1829 when records were first logged. During the 1820's milk was delivered door to door from churns transported by hand barrows. In the early 1900's we saw milk being delivered by horse drawn vehicles and through the 1940's motor vehicles were used. During the 1950's came the iconic battery powered vehicles and by the 1990's, the modern battery powered milk floats were a common site on roads around Britain. D & C DAWES were just one of many door to door milk suppliers. This 3 inch die-cast collectors model is a genuine replica of their livery. Milk Float models available include; D&C DAWES, Braziers Dairies, Dairy Crest, Express Dairies and Arla Dairies Box Contains 1 x Milk Float
