I guess I should have read a little better, this is a brushed microfiber. It will be very nice in the cold months but sleeps warm in the summer. Took off one star due to the design being a little more brown than black but I still love it and it will look great with pops of color in throw pillows!

The comforter slips inside the cover which makes it a little difficult to make the bed without it looking lumpy.

I did not like this product because I received a counterfeit duvet cover. It did not meet my expectations as the material was not as described on the website and it had buttons instead of a zipper.

I love the duvet cover. With my black furniture and a couple of funky pillows it looks awesome. That being said I have two major issues with it as well. The first is a quality issue. There are small little ink marks outside the black pattern itself. I don't know how it's made - I suspect some sort of silk screening process - but the quality control was lacking. I could see the marks as soon as I pulled them out of the package. I'm not returning it because quite frankly I just can't be bothered. I waited 6 weeks for it, and not having it for another 2 months to receive another one with possibly the same issue is not worth it.The second issue is the deceptive nature of the photo advertising this. The pillow shams are not included even though they are featured front and center. The add does state the shams are not included but that's buried down in the features section. I'll admit, I am guilty of not reading the fine print, but I also feel that the advertiser is guilty of implying the shams are included via the photos used to market it. Hope this review is helpful. I am happy to see some designer duvet covers that aren't boring, so in the future I will keep my eye on this company and hope the reviews improve.
