I've never tried a chemical peel at home. I'm in my late 40s and my pores seem to get larger by the day. I have damage from the sun.When I'm in the sun the skin around my mouth gets darker faster than the rest of my face. In a nutshell, I probably have every skin issue that you have and more. I also ordered the pH balance spray from the same brand. I follow the directions to the letter. I did feel a tingle and a slight burn but no immediate results or peeling. It's now three days later and I have seen some peeling. It seems to be just enough to make me feel like, over time with continued use of the product, it will provide the results I'm looking for. I know it sounds funny but I swear my skin looks so much younger day 3... Tighter maybe. I was afraid to do a peel at home. Follow the directions and don't rush it.... this purchase will definitely make you happy and don't be afraid to do it at home.

I purchased this product along with the 40% mandelic peel. I have not felt any tingling with the peel but have used the neutralizer regardless. I have not had any adverse reactions, no stinging, no redness, no peeling.

I purchased this product to go along with the 40% Glycolic peel through the same line and it is quite simply a hands down great product, very simple to use and neutralizes really well, also the price is right!!Update:I’ve used this product now a few times and twice now this product once applied to the peel it burned SO BAD!! I’m no sure if this is due to my error or what but OMG!! It makes me not want to continue with it. Cold water to the rescue people!!! Lol.Update:Ok! Definitely my error... DO NOT EVER leave the peel on for longer than 3 minutes even if you think you can tolerate it believe me you’ll regret it! The burning doesn’t come from the neutralizer but from the acid yeah big Homer Simpson DUHHH on me LOL 😂

Neutralized

I've used this a few times now and I definitely recommend it.Before this, I would create my own neutralizer which was super inconvenient and messy. Now, for only $10 I use this. I don't have to use a lot on my face because a pump or two are immediately effective. I have used it with mandelic and glycolic peels and it works great for both. It immediately stops any tingling/burning from the peels and stops the peels from continuing their "job". It's very soothing and I've noticed that my skin is not red after using the peels, which is likely due to this neutralizer.For the price point and how effective it is and how little I use, it is extremely worth it. I definitely recommend it and will be repurchasing when the time comes.

As an aging woman, I want to take care of my skin. I have had professional glycolic acid perls. So I thought I would try this product. I am happy to report that it was simple to use. The instructions are easy to follow. It left my skin feeling so soft and smooth. I love it and invite you to try it also. The value for the price is phenomenal!

This works equally as well as splashing cold water on your face. Not to mention, using this, as opposed to just splashing your face with cold water, means an extra step because you still have to rinse it off.I will say, their peels are exceptionally good! But this? This neutralizer? Totally unnecessary.

It didn’t work well. I spray all over face and previous chemical peel still stings.
