This book was a present for a friend who found the information easy to follow and put into practice.It will last for a long time as something to be referred to from time to time.

Bought this when I wanted to start learning to fly fish . Found it very helpful as it explains everything from terminology to what equipment is best and what flies to use for beginners . Very helpful

Excellent basic information which is what I need at the moment. Not perfect but a good purchase.

Together with the Michael Evans video I am hoping to have learned enough to have my first attempt at fly fishing when we are on holiday later this month.

Found the book informative and helpful. A few more fishing knots included in the book would have been better. The book seems to be aimed at an American market, I enjoyed reading the book

It does exactly what it says. I found lots of interesting facts about general fishing I didn't know as well as nearly everything I wat to know about Fly Fishing. I would recommend it to anyone
