Keep in mind, they are small
These little key rings, or whatever else you want to use them for, are great! Just pay attention to how small they are. Look at the image that shows them next to a quarter. That does make them tougher to screw together, but they are a great size if you need to secure something small. I bought both these and the six-inch, and they both have their own usefulness. The colors are beautiful and the quality is good.

These work very well as key chains. They can be daisy chained. They stay locked. They can be looped together. My favorite aspect is that they allow keys to compress flush in your pocket - as opposed to the normal key ring where keys get in a bind and point all different directions while in your pocket.

Great for keys
So far so good. I've had key rings like this before (just longer) and they do tend to unscrew themselves over time so it's a good idea to periodically tighten them. These are a great length for using for keys, as long as you don't have too many. Keep in mind they are very short and when closed are only about 1.5 inches across.
