Good Controller, the wifi feature makes control very easy, especially when setting up your different zones etc. Just so annoying when the unit comes with a European two pin plug! - no 3 pin adaptor, which i thought was against trading standards? and even if it did come with a bolt on adaptor, the plug just gets longer & more unstable whilst plugged in. For the price of the unit, i wasn't expecting this sort of penny pinching.

After setting up and running tests I found that the valve ports had no voltage and would not open the valves.I spoke to orbit in the US who said that I had to contact orbit Europe, there response has been very slow and I am not at all impressed with the time it is taking to resolve this faulty timer.Orbit have now said they will replace the faulty timer but will only ship to the U.K. or Europe, This is not acceptable as I had the timer shipped to me in Thailand. So they are saying that even though it is a faulty timer I have to cover the costs of shipping it overseas.A very unhappy customer

The smart watering feature is unfortunately not very good. It does not handle setup of micro drip system for plants in pots. It does not adjust the time it waters depending on the amount of rainfall. Instead it just skips one or several days of watering if there is some rainfall. That is not good at all if you have vegetables that need water every day. Also, if the rain delay kicks in, it suspends watering on all zones and also manual schedules. Hence, if I have vegetables in a greenhouse they won’t get any water if it rains, which will have them dry out. The controller has good potential, but it doesn’t seem like it has been tested on anything but lawns and flower beds. It needs better control per zone and per schedule on if rain delays shall affect that particular zone or schedule. It should also be able to plan irrigation based on the consumption during the day so that it can for example water a pot twice in the day if it has vegetables that consume much water and it is hot. Currently it does only plan based on days, so a pot can dry out completely during the day and not get any watering until the next day.

Es el programador mas completo fiable y sencillo que hay. Junto con la app funciona a la perfeccion. Lo controlo desde miles de kilometros por wifi, lo programo cambio modos de riego. Vamos impecable. Encima la mia esta hecha en EEUU. No hay mejor y he tenido muchos hasta ahora

L'ho acquistata per il marchio di provata affidabilità e per la possibilità di gestirla tramite app.Inizialmente il software non funzionava adeguatamente e quindi ho scritto una mail al supporto Orbit.Nel giro di poche ore hanno risolto da remoto il problema che impediva l'aggiornamento del firmware dimostrandosi professionali ed anche molto gentili.Ora, dopo una intera stagione di utilizzo, posso dire che la centralina funziona perfettamente, è semplice da gestire ma volendo ha anche funzioni avanzate come quella che regola l'irrigazione in base alle previsioni meteo.
