I waited about 20 minutes for the wax to heat, as instructed. Prior to using the wax, I made sure the temperature wasn't too hot. I followed step by step the instructions and it left me with a rash that lasted me like three days and it hurt. I will not be using this product again it’s going to the trash. I’ve never written a review in my life before but this one got me so f up that I just have to. It left my skin so sensitive and red after and bleeding. Ive been using hard wax for a long time and I’ve never had any reactions. Like the reaction I had with this kit. Buy this at your own risk. The picture of my armpit is 3 days after I waxed and I couldn’t even finish waxing because my hair sticks to the wax and it’s all bs and I wish I could get a refund for this because it was definitely not worth the money.

So I wanted to try waxing for the first time and thought maybe this would be easier to use and less messy.I wouldn’t recommend this for first time users, it might be easier to use for those who are use to waxing but I’m not too hopeful to be honest. I attempted my forearm first and it was hard to apply directly to the skin and started pulling a few hairs out as I was applying. The strips didn’t adhere to the wax and left a good amount of wax and hair behind. My skin also broke out as you can see from the picture but I kind of chocked this up to the fact that I get contact dermatitis sometimes from various things and that it may be my own personal reaction and not necessarily what a general person might experience. I also did my leg and still had the same issue but no dermatitis issues there.I also attempted to apply the wax to the strip first then apply it to myself but that didn’t make it any better either. I ended up shaving the rest anyways. I used the honey wax and it smelled like pine tree sap. I also attempted to just keep the warmer plugged in to see if that would help soften the wax and make it easier to apply but it didn’t for me. My husband had also noticed some other reviewers got different things in their kits compared to what was advertised so that’s why I showed everything I received in my order. I will be looking into a different waxing system.Overall wouldn’t recommend.

I have been waxing for probably 20 years. A lot of the rashes seen in many reviews are due to pulling the wax strip off incorrectly. The warmer for this product works great. I never use paper strips and I threw those away to use my muslin strips. The paper ones never work right. The wax included with this product is not as good as most hot waxes as it does not like to stick to itself regularly. Though it comes off the skin fairly easily as far as hot wax goes.

Ended up plugging it in for an hour and it still never got hot enough to use.I got it to use on my armpits and legs before my trip to Mexico and ultimately it never got hot enough to use so it was a waste of time and money. I got it early enough for the trip but after it didn’t work it was too late to return it so now I’m left with a product that I can’t even use.

I bought this because I was tired of shaving, but don't have money to go get waxed professionally regularly either. Since I'm new to waxing, I figured this roll on wax would be easier to learn/use than the hard wax you melt down and scoop.Anyway, on to the review! The wax warmer takes longer than 20 minutes, closer to 1 hour. Once it is fully heated, it rolls on smoothly. I haven't had any issues with using it. I did the lower half of my legs and it ripped the hair out cleanly. Had some residue on my legs, but that was cleaned with oil. Overall, I like this set and will be buying more fabric strips and wax. I think this is a good set for someone new to waxing such as myself.

I will not be using this product again and I will not recommend it to anyone.

Have to have it plugged in for at least an hour to melt the wax enough. Besides that great amount of wax for the price and way less messy than a pot.
