Where are the other patterns?
I was expecting to get 4 different design patterns in the kit but only got one.Rather disappointing!

Better quality than expected
It's better quality than I expected after reading a quite negative review! Needles aren't sashiko needles though, and not sure why I have so many skeins of white thread & 2 needle threaders either! But as I said for a beginner in sashiko, I guess it's ideal for me to practice with

Nice little kit for practicing
This is a nicely presented little kit and has everything you need to get started with sashiko. The thread is embroidery thread not proper sashiko thread - so the finished result is not quite as nice - however, it’s a nice, reasonably priced kit for practicing.

A really great kit, shame about the thread!
This is an excellent little kit, which makes 4 very nice coasters. Impressed that it includes all the hardware, including a very good pair of scissors. Would definitely have given this 5 stars, if the proper thread had been provided. Ordinary embroidery floss is much harder to work with & does not provide such a good finish as it untwists easily whilst sewing & individual strands separate too easily. Otherwise, this would make a fab present for a sewer or a great little project for someone, even of limited experience.

Don’t buy if you don’t know sashiko. Waste of money.
The fabric and rest of the kit is of low quality. The preprinted fabric rubs off easily with only a tiny bit of sweat.The instructions miss very important sashiko steps and refer to western embroidery rules, not Japanese.The kit comes from China, not Japan. Sashiko should come from Japan and thus this is a Japanese embroidery inspired coaster set. Not sashiko.

Sashiko for a Beginner: Me
It has been a really fine experience to try my hand at sashiko. It made me want to go on to maybe more difficult kinds of sashiko.

Nett gemacht
Der Vordruck auf dem Stoff ist nicht sehr durabel, vorsichtig anfassen beim Sticken.Hübsche Muster, alles dabei was ein Anfänger braucht. Ich werde daraus allerdings keine Untersetzer machen sondern eine Tasche.
