Difficulty of control with switching modes.Arthritic hands are not the best!

My fiance' uses it on one ear only, so the ability to adjust sound level up and down using only 1 hearing aid was a terrific design. The ability to produce noise (pink noise is best) to try to eliminate or seriously reduce tennitus, can only be found on very few OTC hearing aids; this hearing aid does a terrific job of almost eliminating it. Ergonomically it fits perfectly flush with the ear so you can even use the phone normally with the hearing aid ear. The clarity is unbelievable thanks to the state of the art digital chip installed in hearing aid. See could hardly believe the clarity & quality of sound. We tried 2 other hearing aids that I could not even rate because there is not a rating number below zero. I hope I can cancel the $3,500 ones my fiance' recently ordered (for a single ear). I did find one flaw that can easily be corrected and that was hearing aid charge became intermittent. It seems that when the hearing aid charger is lying on its side, correct connection between ear piece and battery pins in the case don't always make good contact; probably the magnet holding down ear piece is not strong enough. I made a 1/2" tall box with a lid, and cut a hole that the battery case will fit into and sit in a vertical position; I also inserted a piece of cotton ball on each side in the top of the lid to ensure a gentle pressure was applied to each hearing aid. It seems to work.

The magnets that hold hearing aid in place not very strong. Would not hold device in place long enough to permit a full charge.

The glasses and the wooden box were lovely. Sad thing about the stone cubes was they didn't hold their cold very long. Most people are sippers when it comes to sitting down with a nice glass but with these you'd have to be a gulper if you wanted a cold drink

Aside from the constant whistling, we found this was difficult for our elderly sister to use. There are just too many options, and if she touched the hearing aids by accident, she was totally confused and at a loss to correct it and set them up again. These aids were just unusable and not recommended if anyone gets confused with electronic devices. Sometimes too much flexibility is just too much. We had to return these, largely due to the constant and shrill whistling. Not recommended at all.

It is a beautiful set. Well worth the money!!!
