Worked very well
I at least think this was helpful in keeping our Christmas tree beautifully green and it didn't drop a whole lot of needles until the very end. The entire bottle did last until we were ready to take down our tree, but we did have to use it sparingly and we skipped days because there just isn't enough to last an entire month.

KEEPS TREE SUCKING UP WATER: DROPPING MUCH LESS NEEDLES: STILL SMELLS GOOD: TREE UP 4 WEEKS
The tree has been up with this tree food in it for almost a month. If you have a ‘1/2 gallon milk carton” around… Just clean it out, (you don’t want to be putting milk residue in the tree water making “extra bacteria grow.) then put 2 capfuls of this liquid into the ½ gallon milk jug and use it for filling up your tree’s water tank."You Know How" when you first put up a tree, the "first 2 or 3 days" it "really sucks up water" and then it drastically drops off?...Well with this stuff the tree Continues sucking up lots of water! The tree also maintains its scent so much longer too. (still nice.)The tree still looks good after almost a month. It is not dropping many/much less needles. It's only been tried this one time. But it appears to be keeping the tree much healthier. (Or did we just get a magic tree. :=)) . ;-) )It definitely appears to be doing something!I knew the bottle would not be large. but it was a bit smaller than expected.IT "SHOULD LAST YOU FOR ONE CHRISTMAS, AND PROBABLY/ HAVE SOME LEFT OVER FOR NEXT YEAR. But NOT enough for 2 Christmases. (I guess it depends on how long you put a tree up for and the size of the tree?...)If This Is A Concern Of Yours and YOU LIKE THE PRICE---I CAN (with only this one use/test) DEFINITELY RECOMMEND YOU GIVE THIS A TRY.(With Me... If you are seeing something you are thinking of getting and I give it a 3 or 4 star rating. It is something you should give a try. (“No” 5 star "perfection" from me. It is unlikely to find "perfection." You might even have to deal with some typos or “cursor errors” in this review. 😉)

Works as advertised for my Christmas tree
The Chrysal Christmas Tree Food works great. It did keep the tree much more green and its leaf healthier than just with water. It has a very light greenish liquid color, with slight smell of something but, would not smell your room. Your pine tree still provides nice aroma in the house. There is a handy measuring cup and you don’t need too much. You only need 1 capful to a liter of water. This bottle would probably last you for few Christmas. The critics told me why is there no US measurements. The solutions 1L = 33.8 FL ounces : pour two cupful into 2 L soda bottles. Pour 1 capful into 1L Pellegrino bottle.Pour 1 capful into 4 glasses of water. As of the writing of this review there is additional 25%discount. Get it while it lasts.

Great product for live trees
We love having a real tree for Christmas, and always try hard to keep it green and not let it dry out. This additive is a great help for that. It's super simple to use (one capful in a 2 qt pitcher of water) and pour it in the tree well. Our tree has been up for 3 weeks now and is still green and supple. It's not dropping needles everywhere, and it certainly is not a fire hazard, any more than any other plant would be. I don't expect the tree to last forever, of course, but I am in no big hurry to take it down either. Great product.

There's a lot of tree food
I got this to feed my Christmas tree... but we could only fit a small tree (about 4-5') in our apartment, so maybe I used less than I would have otherwise. This smelled pleasant (not strong), mixed easily into the water, and did seem to keep our tree bright and green for a good while. I did kind of made the mistake of forgetting to water the tree the first night (my first tree :'() but this did a good job helping it hang in there. We got rid of our tree before it fully died, and this was my first experience... so I can't say if it does better or worse than other products. I was satisfied!

tree lasted longer
everytime i get a real tree no matter how much water I out into it it still gets ard and crunch but since using this I see that it still looks okay! some branches are a bit stiff but compared to me not using it it usually becomes stiff during this time! i still have it up and it still looks great!

I don't know how this works, but it sure does!
Honestly, I don't know how this solution works, but the years I use it the tree simply lasts longer. It stays greener, the branches and needles don't get crunchy and dry out, and the fresh tree smell stays longer. I've had trees last well into January before (COVID was an 'everything is depressing, let's keep the tree until it can't go on anymore' experiment). The years I haven't used this, not so much.OF NOTE: a healthy, vibrant tree will absorb LOTS of water. You'd be wise to pay extra attention to the water levels, especially in the first week or so to make sure your base doesn't dry out.

Keeping it fresh
I usually make my own mixture to keep the tree fresh throughout the X-max season. It works decently. We get a huge tree every year. It’s 11’ tall and I always cut off the bottom approx. 3-4 inches to provide a fresh part of the tree trunk. This gives the tree a fresh area for it to soak up the water in the stand. I’ve been looking for something to feed the tree to keep it fresh. Found this liquid and it says all the things I’m looking for. The price is affordable and is going in the water of the tree. Right now, I have to take the manufacturer at face value. I’ll have to update the post once we’re done with the tree. Will be buying Christmas tree in a few days so I’m keeping the stars at 4 until we get close to throwing out the tree and can update. I know this doesn’t help right now but sometimes the best way to find new traditions is using new stuff in order to know if it works. Might find a better way. This bottle is 250ml and 1 cap full is 10ml. It says to use 1 cap full per liter. Our stand is approximately 4 liters to fill. The bottle should last the whole Christmas. HAPPY TIMES!!
