I bought this as a joke for my grandson, who likes to make cracks about "tinfoil hats," but he really likes the style and wears it to work. I don't know if it'll really protect him from aliens and government spies, but it does protect him from the cold, and it looks good on him!

I've been monitoring EMF radiation for over a decade. I used a high-quality EMF meter to test out this hat, putting an RF source into and out of it, including sealing the supposed reflective fabric together. There was absolutely zero difference in the readings with and without the hat between the source and the meter. This is just a winter hat, nothing more. No use to me to actually protect someone from RF radiation.

I took my husbands and wore it during the solar storms... during Mays solar flares! My head felt pressure, I put his on for each about 4 hr window over, about 3 days- huge relief.
