Works perfectly
I watched a YouTube video on how to do this and it works perfectly. The auto parts guy told me this was a dealer only item. Within 5 minutes of leaving the store, (a big national chain store) I had one coming through Amazon. Awesome!

Beats overpriced dealers
Difficulty was taking the original key fobs apart. Goes together easily. Would recommend a small screw to hold it together. Had to use a little super glue.

I did it
Thank you Amazon for getting this to me overnight. I have a 2012 Kia Sportage and my key fob has been damaged for years. I called around to try to get someone to fix it and everybody even the dealership wanted a lot of money. the price went from $125.00 to $165.00 for a new one. so I googled how to fix my key fob and Amazon came up.So I put my cars information in and this fob was a match for my car. There was another review on here about how to open my old fob and transfer the circuit board to the new fob. This is a very hard thing to do, you got to be very careful not to damage it. it is very hard trying to open the old Kia fob. I used a hammer, pliers and a butter knife. I could have saved a lot of time if I just used the hammer at first. The end / pointy is what opened it. Stick it in and tip lightly until it pops open. Put every thing into the new fobs screw it down tight. thank you Amazon for getting it to me quickly and to the other person that did a review on his 2012 Kia Sportage Thank you. 1. side note: everything will work better if you are careful and use all your old parts. My key dose not pop up quickly but it comes up enough for me to flip it open. Now I can lock and unlock my car. This product should get 10 Stars. Be careful opening your old fob, don't damage the key or circuits inside. I hope this helps someone.

Huge savings
This was a little difficult for me since I'm older and losing strength in my hands. Car manufacturers don't want you to be able to do this yourself and it saved me a lot of money because my old fob was falling apart. I watched multiple YouTube videos to see how to do it (they don't include instructions.) One video said to only wind the key on the spring for 1 rotation. Another one said 2 rotations. I only did it once and the key doesn't quite lay flat against the fob so I would wind it 2 rotations the next time. They break when you open them (even the expensive ones from the manufacturers) so I'm not doing it over just for that.

Kia Soul+ 2013
Well that was a pain in the butt, and I broke a nail. But it worked! I found a tutorial on YouTube and got it done. It was fairly easy but my old key fob was hard to pry open. Pieces of it broke off and that's what you see in the picture. It wasn't a perfect fit but this is a great, affordable option.

2011 Kia Soul
Had to replace both keys. One key blade had snapped from it's slot. I had to knock the pin out of the new key slot to replace the blade. Used a push pin to secure the old key to the new slot and sanded and hammered it in. They weren't the same fit, but the makeshift pin did the job and it works great. Might be noticable in pics. Total time for that key was 30-45 min BUT, main key only had damaged buttons and that took 8min. Overall super easy with YouTube. I did reuse my old backing because it had transmitter and battery info listed, but I kept the spare parts just in case. Will update if anything goes wrong or damaged.

Do Not Lose the tiny screw that come in small package upon receiving remotes
I Went to Youtube and followed instruction. It took me a couple of tries, especially the key flip out parts with the spring. But was successful putting it back together.

Product Great, Still Req're re-programing
So proud to follow YouTube video the change all the guts. Door unlocked but engine won't start. Still required locksmith to re-program the fob. Another review said there's another rectangular piece. Hmm. Didn't see it nor was it in the video. Don't through the old stuff away until u r sure. Also, test the first new fob they before you break the second old one.

Works on my KIA Soul 2011 car keys
Fast shipping and excellent replacement. Works as advertised, replaced my old KIA Soul 2011 car keys. Pls. make sure you transfer EVERYTHING from your old car key. The electronic board, the keys, spring, new batteries and some small parts that you crtitically need especially if your car has an immobilizer. It's not a chip but it is a small rectangular piece that looks like a magnet. My car did not start at first when I forgot to include it on the key. You will notice the car security icon does not light up on your car dash if you insert the improper key to prevent car theft. Once I transferred all the pieces including that small part, everthing worked well. My key looks new again. Thank you.

Not as expected
I got the key fob cases and took apart the original. I placed the circuit board inside the new case, put the rest of the fob together and tried the new one out. It will lick and unlock the doors now but will not start the vehicle. Apparently, it thinks I am trying to steal my car.
