So recently used these electrical tapes to mark cables for a home project. I appreciated the fact that I had numerous colors at my disposal which made the marking easier. But to the tape itself. I was worried that this tape would be gummy - ie the tape itself would feel adhesive on my fingers and not stick well to itself or other products. It wasn't and it stuck just fine. I felt and saw no difference in behavior then that tape I would buy at a big box store.

This tape is virtually indistinguishable to name-brand electric tapes. It has the same adhesion, heat resistance, stretch, thickness, and flexibility. It’s certainly of a higher quality than virtually any other off-brand I have run across.This tape is easy to work with, and there is never a fear the tape is going to work its way loose or the glue is going to break down over time and create a mess.

I have used a LOT of electrical tape over the years, and I can say that despite the packaging, this is actually some good quality electrical tape. I have got some cheap electrical tape, and it doesn't stick well and has a kind of plastic feel to it. Good quality tape sticks well and is a little bit stretchy so you can pull it tight as you wrap your connection and that stretch helps it bind tightly.This tape also has some thickness to it, really thin tape is also difficult to work with. This isn't the thickest tape I have used, but it's really pretty good. If I put these rolls of tape with the rolls of what I consider 'good electrical tape' and didn't look at the core, it would be difficult for me to pick out which was which based on the properties of the tape.I often buy multiple colors of electrical tape to mark various wires and cables, but many times I wish I had one more color in my toolbox, this set has plenty of colors to choose from and while I will probably still run out of Red, Green and White before anything else, those get replaced all the time and having a few extra colors will be nice.I don't know about the waterproof claim, I don't really do much outdoors, and I don't know if I would trust any kind of tape to be waterproof... if you want waterproof, you really need heat shrink tubing with glue in it, so for me whether it is waterproof or not makes no difference and will not affect how I use it.

I picked this 10-pack to mark wires, and I think it will work fine for that. It came in a box with all ten rolls shrink wrapped together, and then each roll is also individually wrapped. I like that it has 10 different colors, most sets have only 5-6, and each roll is a full-size roll of vinyl tape, not the little rolls you typically find in the store.The tape itself seems to be of good quality, it is plenty sticky and is easy to get off the roll. A couple of the rolls were kindof cupped up in the middle of the roll, so they don't stack perfectly and that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, but overall I think this will work fine for what I need it for.

Works well, colors help if you are needing to mark different wires or organize cables/cords. Sturdy and holds up in the Florida heat.

Personally I used this to color code my cables and since there is so many options I never have to use more than two colors on one cable. With that being said this pack so last me a long time. Only color that would be the first to go would be the black color since I use it for everything else. Not much else to be said about tape besides it has many colors, it sticks, and it comes with a lot on each roll. I do recommend.
