First, check the size of the holes in your board! These aren't tapered, so they only fit the 3/16 holes. Not 3/8 or any other size.I was looking for exactly something like this for our board seeing as how the plastic ones broke along time ago. I bought some tapered pegs and they were too small!I expect these to last a lifetime with the board we have.

My husband got these for a cribbage board table he was making as a gift for my mother in law. They feel very quality. They are large but that is what he was looking for.

Just got my order & put the pegs in the holes to start a game. the first black one i inserted was pretty snug. I checked the hole and found a small burr of wood. Still snug, as were the second & third. Is it just the difference between the 'metal' finishes and the black pegs being 'paint'? I suppose I can sand off the finish on the barrel of the black ones. Or maybe I'll look for a different set and return these.

These fit perfectly for the oversized outdoor cribbage boards we made our kids.

Product is high quality and dimentions are exactly as described. My only gripe is that the "copper" Peg's arnt actually made of copper. It looks to be some coating over steel. I can verify that the other materials being brass and stainless. I knew that these peg's were long for my purpose so I would cut them down which is how I found that it actually wasn't made of copper.
