I got the women's size 6 because I wanted to wear thick socks. The boots fit perfect and they're warm, easy to wear (not too heavy) and there was no break in period at all. I'm not sure someone with a wide foot or high instep could wear them though, might be ok if they wore very thin socks.

I tested my rain boots on a long nature walk and reviewed their performance based on the qualities I was looking for:1. Functionality: They were water resistant, durable, didn't slip on muddy leaves, but are slippery on some surfaces. A wet wooden bridge was a slicker surface to be wary of, but that's typical of waterproof boots. If crossing wet rocks or other variable surfaces, you'd want to test out grip quality.2. Fit & comfort: Using the chart, the boots are a great fit--snug, but not too tight. They didn't pinch anywhere after a long walk. They are a bit heavy, but not beyond what you would expect for a tall, outdoor worker boot. I was surprised and pleased by how comfortable they were. The flexible calf makes them easier to take off.3. Ease of care: They are waterproof, so breathability always leads to odor concerns. So I like that the insoles can come out for easy drying/deodorizing. Also, the calf material can be folded down to air out. The rest can be wiped or washed clean.Overall, I'm pleased so far with my purchase, and plan to get my partner a part as well.

I also ... love the design, the appearance, the materials used, and the collective flexibility the boots give.FULL DISCLOSURE: I work in a flood zone ... So when it rains, it floods ... and there is nothing worse than working in soaking wet shoes and socks, and most importantly ... having my feet being exposed to flood related toxins, contaminants, pollutants, and critters ... all at once, Yikes! Therefore ... allow me to quote the famous Daryl Hall and John Oats from Hall & Oats ... "I can't go for that ... No ... (No can do)" So with this song playing in my mind at this moment, here's my ...CONCLUSION: Tremendous thanks to ALL ... farmers, hunters, fishers, gardeners, and explorers for sharing your experiences with this product. YOU have collectively motivated me to plant another seed of faith with TIDEWE ... and to pull the trigger on this winning purchase. Also ... to drop my anchor for this great buy, while weeding out ALL doubts about these boots, as I now ... confidently explore the flooded terrains ... of many neighboring communities while assisting others through the after storm's reality. I've worn these boots all over1 pair lasts about 6-12 months in my field (land surveying) comfortable, water proof. Affordable.

These boots are warm as well as able to keep water, etc. out of the boot. Snug, but not tight on my average-sized calves.

These boots were a bit on the tight side when first worn but after a few hours they broke in nicely. I was impressed with the support and comfort. I put them thru a real test as I spent about 12 hrs in a swamp clearing brush. They are lightweight but have a good sole so they are supportive. Also very good grip on wet terrain and wet logs. 100% waterproof for sure. I love the fact that they have a kick step on the back of each heal so you can pull them off with your feet without bending over. (After a long day it's surprisingly very helpful.) They are lightweight and fairly breathable also as I am in South Florida and with it being so hot my feet did not get overheated. I look forward to seeing how they hold up but they are very well made. I ordered 4 pairs of boots all in the same class/style Artic Shield, Hisea, 2 from Tidewe. I chose these because of comfort , support and the rugged sole. Just one thing I would like to tell potential buyers, the boots have neoprene/wetsuit material throughout so they do sweat. I of course figured that because that's what neoprene does, so I'm fine with it. Although in cold climates sweat can turn to frostbite real fast, so just buyer be careful where and what you need them for and what climate you are in. I would buy them again in my area and climate for sure 100%

I originally ordered an 8 (my normal size) but they were way too big. I ordered a 7 and almost returned them for being too snug but another reviewer said that stretch. It only took 2 days of wear and they did stretch. They r so comfortable, waterproof and warm. Highly recommend

Look no further if you are looking for a great boot. Used on my farm to walk my dog and to do chores. Super comfortable, keep your feet warm, and waterproof so far. Feels like you are wearing tennis shoes. They are true to size.

Very comfortable to walk in, I purchased for hunting and they were great. Kept me warm and dry. They do fit a little big, but thick socks do the trick. The only con is that where the neoprene meets the rubber is a little bothersome, there is a seam you can definitely feel when walking. Other than that they are a great boot!

I bought these for work as a nonslip rain proof insulated boot, because I work on roofs. I absolutely love this boot for the price you can’t beat it. My feet stay warm and dry all day long, and with a nice thick wool sock my foot fills the boot nicely, I would say these are fit to size so buy the size you would normally get. A couple people commented that they don’t fit on small boot dryers but if you roll them down, they fit nicely. The crease is from me rolling the tops down to stick them on my boot dryer. Works great if you have a shorter boot dryer. I would def recommend.
