My original post also complained there wasn't enough thread provided to complete the bag (Won't bore you with details. I found the second skein. Doh!).To help with a previous post: stitching with a single thread provides plenty to complete the bag. Don't double it as with the thin size thread. Hope this helps.

What a FUN hobby! This project is the most therapeutic, relaxing, enjoyable pastime for me. While I’m focused on my little rice-sized stitches and French knots, the world and stress about COVID waves melts away. Fast in-house processing, fast shipping, minimal packaging (Thank you!) and no hidden damages in-transit. Dual languages for beginners. Nice mid weight indigo and sturdy cotton thread. Smooth large-eyed needle included. I like that the tote is mostly made with finished edging; all I do is stitch the designs printed on the fabric. This tote will house all my Sashiko tools and small projects.PS I asked mom to add the liner (red) to hide backside stitching. Nice box bottom style. Pattern lines up perfectly when finished. Mom sewed in the lining and put together the tote after I stitched. Her work was all hand sewn 👊🏽👊🏽

I love sashiko and rabbits so this was the perfect kit! I did what the other reviewer did and added a lining to the bag. The kit comes with Japanese/English instructions, threads (I barely used the 2nd hank), needle, thimble & water soluble printed design. The fabric is a bit thicker than other sashiko kits I've done so I could not "load" up my needle with many stitches but it's understandable as it's a tote bag so you'll want a sturdier material. I do wish the bag was a little taller but otherwise it's fine to hold my knitting/cross stitch.

I have found sashiko is perfect for travel. Compact, limited supplies, and Lee me occupied. This turned out beautifully!

I just started working with Sashiko and am enjoying it greatly. Instead of using it as a bag, I plan to incorporate it into a wall hanging with smaller sample pieces.

Bad experence for purchasing this item. Didn't notice to do the needlework by my own. Autually don't know needlework. When made the refund, changed me shipping fee USD20 without notify me
