My son was totally engrossed with this set of 8 dvd's (45 minutes each).What's more, although the item was substantially discounted because it was not new (but described as in "very good" condition) it was actually in tip-top shape!This was a perfect purchase

Good info but not for high school. Their eyes quickly glaze over with info overload. IT IS GREAT INFO..but TMI for a general HIGH SCHOOL course. I love it for ME as a teacher to prep and to go over what I am going to lecture. However, if you were planning on this to supplement your course with the kid watching, it will only supplement their NAP TIME. I turned it off after 15 minutes because I was on info OVERLOAD. GREAT INFO..just too much for my needs in an high school course.

I can't stop watching this wonderful video series. It is so well done. The illustrations used by the teacher are very detailed and he explains everything in a most interesting way. You can't help but be amazed at our body and how it is made and how it works. This teacher has wonderful delivery, and you do not get bored. I highly recommend this product. You will never look at the human body in the same way again. Buy it!

Viewing Dr. Goodman's lectures has been really helpful to me in my A&P course. His explanations are clear, and I like the clinical examples that he throws in to demonstrate the relevance of the concepts he lectures on. A few of the diagrams have misspelled words, like crainal rather than cranial, grand mall rather than grand mal, in the brain anatomy lecture. An amusing touch of irony.

Extremely informative and easy for a layperson to understand and enjoy.

the course content is great but the dvd's have some damage (each one has had an area that is skipped over because of damage, some more than others...

I was hoping to use this DVD in my Anatomy and Physiology classes, but its lecture format didn't work for me. I was hoping for more graphics and illustrations. The material is good, however.
