Q: Does the area the hair piece is going, need to be completely shaved or can it go over natural hair?

It has to be shaved so the adhesive can hold the hair piece in place. You can use either Ghost Bond liquid adhesive, or clear wig tape to secure it in place. I use Ghost Bond for the "thin skin", and clear wig tape for the front lace. Hope this helps!
