I had been looking for these shoes for a while but the price always put me off. I happened to drop on these on Amazon and ordered them immediately. I am delighted with both the fit of the shoes and the price. Immediately comfortable, lovely soft, supple leather, the size 5 are a perfect fit and, more importantly, the toe post doesn't rub or irritate as it is a flat piece of leather than a rounded post. Am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought these shoes as slippers. I cant imagine them being used for going outside in because of the light leather base and sides of this shoe which, to me would not be practical as it would get dirty and cleaning wouldn't be easy. As slipper they are lovely. The leather upper is soft and the composition sole of the shoe is very non slip. Just perfect for me. Mine are a size 5 and I would say its a normal size 5 fit.I WOULD LIKE TO ADD ONTO THIS AS I HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THESE SHOES. AFTER ONLY 8 MONTHS THE SOLE WAS COMING AWAY FROM THE REST OF THE SHOE. I CAN STILL USE THEM AND THEY ARE STILL AMAZING COMFORTABLE BUT THEY NOW CREAK EVERY TIME I WALK. AS MY ORDER WAS OVER SIX MONTHS OLD AMAZON DIDN'T ALLOW ME TO CONTACT THE SELLER.

Good quality and sturdy as expected from Gabor.I have a shallow instep therefore a good fit from the start, however they have “given“ in that area so foot slides in much more easily now after a week of wear. Gabor shoes have always been on the snug side in that respect and it’s a question of style of the shoe to get that area just right. For a high instep it might be difficult. I know someone with such, who would not get her feet in them despite the size length being correct.

These are, as always from Gabor, very nice shoes. Well-made, high quality. I have the same sandal in the nubuck, and the reason this black sandal gets a 3-star not 5-star rating from me, is that the nubuck is way comfier. The nubuck sandals I have been able to wear all day from the outset - the comfiest shoes I have, even from brand new. But these, being leather, are harder and less flexible (the uppers). No doubt in time they will wear in a bit, stretch a bit, soften a bit. They look smart. But if what you want is something super-comfortable from the moment they come out of the box - get the nubuck ones, not these. Sizing is standard for Gabor, they don't come up unusually wide/narrow or short/long.

Bought half a size down as some reviews said they are wide - size fits. My feet are medium width with highish instep and these are OK. Was afraid they might be too large but they're not. I like them; thnk they are quite stylish and very comfortable - should be comfortable to walk in as they seem to stay on. So far toe post no problem. Good for my purpose - to slip on when getting out of bed and wear around house. Like the colour (very dark blue). Pleased with purchase, might buy in other colour.

These sandles are like a "hug" on my feet.. the sizes are accurate and the quality of the nubuck is beautiful... I had a bunion op 6 months ago, the construction of the upper means there are no seams near the scar to aggravate.. A little expensive I hear you say but never a truer word in saying "You definitely get what you pay for"

I already have 5 pairs of these sandals in various colours - but the white pair which are worn most often during summer had started to look a bit shabby (after over 10 years!) so I thought it time to replace them. Gabor make beautiful shoes and really know the actual shape of a foot - which most shoe manufacturers most certainly do not. I adore Gabor! :)
