Marvellous idea.
Great idea. I love these.I got one of those new mattresses with a memory foam topper built in - and I didn't realise just how deep they are and what a problem I would have getting the fitted frilled sheets to stay on.The bed has drawers under and the fitted frilled sheets I had didn't quite reach to the floor to hide the base unit.So I bought a 'base valance sheet'. That was great for hiding the bed base, but, these mattresses have to be turned regularly to keep their shape, and they are thick and heavy, So you cannot lift them off to turn, you have to drag them round - and they drag the base sheet up with them. And it is almost impossible to get the sheet to go back in place.Cue these magic wires.I removed the mattress, and put the bed base on it's side. Hung the base sheet over and clipped the cable on. I had to do it lengthways not horizontally though. Then I tipped the base onto it's other side and clipped that side of the base sheet on.It has stayed in place during mattress turning. SUCCESS! Sheet hangs neatly as well.Of course you have to perform this rigmarole every time you wash the sheet, but it is worth the hassle.

Utterly useless, unless you want to make putting a sheet on dangerously exciting
Completely useless.The fasteners do not fasten without pinging off and the speed at which they come off under tension could easily take an eye out, so dangerous too.The little grips that are supposed to allow you to shorten the length of the elastic (similar to the kind that close string bags) are so weak they just slide so youre back to the original length or mucking about tying knots in elastic - which is hardly the point.Do your self a favour and just buy some adult men's braces. They have sturdy grips and are easily length adjustable and once set don't budge an inch. I got three pairs for less than the price of one of these total rip-offs.If there's on thing I really dislike is an otherwise good idea being made utterly useless by poor quality materials.

Work as expected
They do their job perfectly without damaging the fabric upon stress, albeit being priced too high for what they are.

Slightly awkward to attach.

Pretty easy to fit and they stay in place
I use ours across the bed rather than diagonally as our mattress topper would always need pulling back across the bed before getting in each night. Pretty easy to fit and they stay in place. Now our mattress topper barely moves, much better. Make sure you don't tighten them too much otherwise they don't make any difference, weirdly.
