I rated this book so highly because I love tropical gardens and I love tropical plants. This book shows the best of both in the photographs of the tropical gardens represented. They are truly exotic paradises to me. This is the kind of book I can return to many times and never get tired of looking at it.

I am a Garden Designer based in South America, and believe me, of all the Tropical Garden Design books that I have browsed, this is the best. The gardens featured in the book are exquisite and amazing. Without a doubt, the most beautiful Tropical Gardens there are. For anyone looking for inspiration, this is the book to buy.

Subtitel "Hidden Exotic Paradises" promises heartwarming dreams. Instead pages are full of square pools, concrete paths, 5star hotel kitsch. It should have been named Achitectural digest as it seems, that architects had been contacted to submit fotos of their latest projects. Layout is also a bit confusing and the descriptions short and superficial. Well - everyone his paradise, mine is more sensual.

This book is a wonderful explore around the world of tropical gardens. Every featured garden has a landscape plan and information on the plants chosen. Beautiful pictures.
