Wendy's Perfect Pony (Dream Pony Riders)

I highly recommend any of Susan Counts' books. She captures the hearts of young girls and their love for horses and carries the reader through the story without a bobble! I bought the whole set of the Dream Pony Riders series to place in my daughter-in-law's school library where she works.

This book 4 hit hard to my soul. Wendy was looking to buy a pony for jumping in competitions. But what she found was a pony who needed much more in life. The special bond they shared was so endearing. This story was about second chances and fulfilling a dream. This series is so special because it promotes friendships and good deeds through the hearts of children. I'm looking forward to book 5. If you’re a pony lover, you need to read this series. I highly recommend it.
