First of all, great product, will recommend and will use again.I ordered black colours to change the colour of shinny silver genuine leather boots into black.The boots are new, just ordered wrong colour by mistake and couldn't return. So I decided to make them black.The product is easy to use. I used regular spong to apply the colour in circular motion.as it is big and allows to cover the boots easily and it worked perfectly well.I forgot that this may make a mess and didn't wear gloves, but the dye is water based and was easily washed off from my hands znd the floor. However wear gloves if you have long nails.I needed 2 bottles because the boots are over the knee, so I used one bottle on each. It was exactly how much I needed.I did 2 layers of black colour on each boot, one layer was enough to cover it though.All in sll very good, just follow instructions and you ate fine !Will use again!

I wanted this shoe dye for an pair of golf shoes that looked old put there not ready to be discarded with and the are like new now

The reason why I bought this product was that I had a pair of really comfortable heels which were badly injured on a day when I was in a rush to catch my train. I couldn't simply bin them... Giving them a chance for a new life I ordered this product and honestly it did an amazing job. My beige courts turned into vivid blue color and the dye covered the injured patches really smoothly. The new color and surface is amazing with a lovely smooth shine as an addition to the cheerful color. I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. The only advice I would add is that you need to be patient with the dying - each layer has to get dry (min. 6 hours) and I had to apply 3 layers to get the perfect cover. Furthermore, use the sponge for every parts (even for the heels and sides) as it gets wrinkled if too much dye is applied. Don't worry if the color looks a bit odd after the first layer is added, just carry on...

I am very satisfied with this product. I used it to dye grey leather shoes to black. The process took awhile as I first used the preparation solution quite thoroughly, then allowed the shoes to dry overnight followed by two coats of dye (and 12 hours drying time between them). I also polished the shoes with black shoe polish at the end of the process as I am hoping to use these now quite frequently. The results of this process were excellent, and it is hard to imagine that the shoes weren't always black.I also dyed a pair of canvas shoes with the dye. I wasn't able to get quite as thorough coverage and it took a lot of solution to get the shoes mostly black. I might try fabric dye for canvas shoes in the future. This dye seems to be at its best on leather.

I used the shade Bordeaux 11 on my Clark's Brown shoes After one coat I was amazed at the result I added a second coat and they now look superb The stuff dries quickly it doesn't take long to do a pair of size I am well pleased with this and should I need to do any more I shall stick to this brand I give it ten out of ten

This is very watery. I put five coats on white leather boots and it still didn’t look good. Maybe it would work better on something else

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked. I had a much loved (and much scuffed) pair of light tan ankle boots that I could not bear to throw away, even when I spilt something on them which marked.The first coat of dark brown dye that I applied gave a rather 'antique leather' look, a little patchy.I had put this on with the sponge as instructed. When I applied a second coat, I mainly used the brush and got an even,glossy finish that I was very impressed with. The boots looked like new.Although I only used about half of the bottle of dye,I need to use up all of the Preparer solution.However, I have read on sites about leather dyeing that ordinary nail varnish remover can be used as a preparation for dyeing so there is easily enough in the kit for 2 pairs of shoes.

I have used this product previously to deal with scratches on leather sofa .it works well for me. There was initially a delay with order but have now received and happy with product.
