I read all the reviews before purchasing this, it works great but I can't get the "buttons" to do what the directions say they will, long frustrating story short, it sits close to my desk (where I need it) and I just plug it in and hit the first button and it gives off a wonderful amount of heat, when I leave the area, I have to unplug it which is not the best way I'm sure but it does keep me warm. Bottom line, I would buy one that has less buttons to push, but it does do the job. I'm sure it's because I'm not a great technical person.

Great little heater, but remote didn't work straight out of the box.

The first one I bought was defective, but I was sent a replacement right away.I've been using it for a few weeks and decided it's not a great buy.The safety feature works great. But the space I bought this for doesn't really warm up as well as I'd hoped. The fan blows fine, but it cools the warmth down too much so it feels like a summer fan blowing cool air. I had hoped it would be a bit better for the price.The remote works-- if you are standing less than a foot away and point angled from below the top of the heater.

As the headline says, it would trip the circuit breaker each time I used it, causing power to go out in part of the house.I was busy before I went for vacation, so I could not return it.Now I have to throw it away, and try a different brand.

I was looking for a heater to use in my office for winter use and I am glad that I came across this effective space heater. Every picture in the listing, shows the front display illuminated. Fair, it does light up. But it doesn't stay on. The remote is a joke. I mean, it works if you're 6-11" right in front of it, and point it just right. Basically it does not work at all. The cord is super short, so even if I wanted it closer to deal w/the remote's miniscule range, no dice. True, you can tilt the heater upwards, but it doesn't go backwards from the 90 degree mark. Like, y'know.... when you'd want to put some heat on your feet. It will start running and the heating part works fine, the oscillation range is ok. I did not find it loud as I read in other reviews. In fact, it's super quiet. So it's very hard to tell if it's on if you're more than a couple feet away. Because, y'know.... the display won't stay on. Don't buy this. Look for something Ell A ess KO. I've got two products from them that I've had for years, both with remotes, and both that function as advertised. This one just fails on all levels.
